Aquarius and Cancer - Can It Ever Work?

Well, at least in love I mean. I have had a huge crush on an Aquarius guys for as long as I can remember but have been told that even if I do get together with one, chances are that things will start fizzling out in no time. But based on the limited ability I have in chart interpretation, I found out he has a stellium in Aquarius (Sun, Mars and Venus) and another in Pisces (Moon, Mercury, Saturn).

I on the other hand, am a Cancerian to the core! Sun, Moon and Venus conjunct in Cancer and coincidentally all in the 12th house! Sounds isolating doesn't it? Though I noticed the older I get, the more I am growing out of my shell and living up to my Leo Ascendant.

Anyway,with these aforementioned placements, is there really any hope for us? Other than this, I have no idea what else to look for in astrology charts.

The beginning/take off is very difficult for this match because both signs are distrustful of others and have a fortress build around themselves for protection. It takes a lot for both to understand where each other comes from because one is emotional (connects via emotions) and the other is cerebral (rationalizes emotions). If you can survive one yr together, it may cement something for a prosperous future together.

It can work but there needs to be a lot of patience on your part. I know that Cancers initially come on way to strong with their emotions, crying on the spot and pouring their hearts out. Initially, an Aqua will see this ridiculous behavior and pull away. But if you're patient, loving, and kind he'll eventually return. Just make sure you don't try to manipulate him by using emotional games or trying to sleep with him. Aquas will disappear quicker than Casper.

Hmmm yeah, I agree with you totes. But then again, he has a deeply romantic side to him which he would hidden to the grave from the object of his affection and yet, would obsess over and talk about ravenously to friends and what not. He has had the longest crush on this girl for 3-4 years but always keeps aloof and detached around her; even to the extent of point-blank ignoring her in group convos. Actually, he shuts up in front of his friends when prior to that, he was talking non-stop to them in order to eavesdrop into her conversations when sitting at the same table. Even compliments other girls but not her directly, even if he later gushes about her extraordinary beauty behind her back.

This as much I know about him when it comes to love. However, he has a huge fear of commitment and that's why he never made any move on her as of yet. Ironic that he stalks her in private vehemently but has a problem with this. Are Aquarians really studies in contradiction? I cannot understand how to go about it when tackling this guy. If he really is still in love with this girl, I'd rather back off if this is not gonna go anywhere. It's kinda sad being a second option...
