Aquarius vs Scorpio...

Aquarius female here...I'm just wondering why I always attract scorpios into my life? And why so many of them try to pick fights with me? And the one's who try to debate or intimidate me think that they are always right...it's probably because I'm not the fighting type so they don't realize that I'm almost ALWAYS three steps ahead of them?? They really, really underestimate me. And then I can tell they get sad or depressed about it. And what they're really thinking is, "you may have won this time, but when you least expect it. i'll get you!" And I can smell them coming a mile away! Ugh, they scheme so much! Why do scorpios always try to intimidate me? When I don't care at all about them (sometimes I feel like they're so offended that I don't pay attention to them, they get in my face??) Is this an Aquarius/scorpio thing? They're so emotional and feel the need to win all of them time...it's almost too easy for me to shoot them down. But it means that they never leave me alone!

Anyone with knowledge of scorpios or an aqua/scorpio dynamic know the best way (besides ignoring them, which makes it worse for me!) to get a scorpio to back off from trying to one up you all of the time...or intimidate you or try to hurt your feelings. There are two scorps I know who are like that but really they're like fly's i'm trying to swat away and won't leave me alone!

WOW! I'm a scorpio and I have quite a few aquarius friends and an aquarius boyfriend... can't say we argue much at all.... we can get frustrated with how neither listens to the other's advice usually but I don't think I actually argue.... if I do I have healthy debates rather than anything aggressive. I enjoy the challenges and excitement that comes with a healthy debate. Can actually help get some of those pent up emotions out. Sounds like they come to you with the comfort of being able to let loose..... and see you as a challenge. Scorpios just love challenges regardless if it's a good or bad one, we are pretty fearless.

What I recommend is actually being straight honest that you don't appreciate them doing that. And unless they stop that you aren't interested in talking to them. They will probably get a bit sensitive and upset by this but we value honesty and respect things even given in bluntness if it's not a lie. Although to some extent you sound kinda like you enjoy it a bit too if you are winning... cause let's face it ... who doesn't like to win.. especially against a fearless intellectual scorpio. Aquas are definitely great equals when it comes to intelligence.... you have the advantage in some situations of being logical without emotions and in other cases where emotions with logic are necessary we can be a better pick for figuring that out.

These individual scorpios may just not be a fun challenge and that's unfortunate....

So it's part attraction but part admiration also.

it could be your moon that they are responding to, is in libra by any chance?

I get along fine with all scorpios, most than any water sign really but thats probably because I understand them well as my moon is in scorpio.

My moon is in Sag! I have one good friend who is a Scorpio and we get along really well. She is a sweetheart, she's also had a few Aqua boyfriends and talks about how much she loves Aguas! I'm not sure what the rest of her planets are in. Most guys who are outwardly attracted to me have been Scorpios...but I've never really found the attraction mutual unfortunately. I think I'm afraid of anything intense, and I could definitely sense their attraction! I tend to shy away from them in general. But yes there a few competitive ones! And I hate competitiveness...I do have a Scorpio Midheaven, but I'm not really sure how that factors into 1x1 relationships with others.

I am much more on the shy side myself, so I don't think that is what it is. One Scorpio male I know did tell me that they can't read me at all and it frustrates them to which I replied.... "Oh haha...—" and then they looked perplexed that I didn't tell them what I was thinking. It made me even more nervous thinking about what he was thinking about what my thoughts were...lol...so I just kept guarded and after sometime realized that I was much to reserved to be "with" him. I can only really express my strong emotions incrementally really, like with trust but when people express their frustration at how I communicate I totally shy again.

Honestly I can't go into a bar or crowded party or mall and feel 100% comfortable. I usually will be found in the back of the room sitting there watching and observing people. Having an ideas (kind of like doing research) about the people before I feel comfortable letting myself open up and have fun. One on one is so much more comfortable for me. So reading you is helping me understand you so I can let down my guard.

I literally Love Aquarius and have may Aquarius friends. But I think we would suck in a love relationship unfortunately since we are such independent quiet catchers we don't share enough about ate self to each other. And I here so much hell about a Scorpios and Aquarius being together I hate it. I think we would be strong together just not in the long run since were such free spirits in my opinion.



but if I were with one I'd try to make it work...
