yes this is part of our weird sick sense of humour. you dont have to fake laugh we wont take it personally if you dont get it. i get that grim look from my fiance often.
like now i think its so funny, i fell in love with this mens cologne, because it smells sooo good (reminds me of leather). i bought a small bottle of it for aromatic pleasure. yes i know weird. he doesnt know i bought it.
he smelled it on me. he keep giving me this look like he want to ask me something but he wont. 🙂 his face is priceless. its hilarious!
anyway its all in good fun. its good to know he gets you more than you think right?

i mean i laughed and i wasn't pissed off....but is that side-splittingly funny to aquas as it seemed to be to him or have i had a sense of humour failure.
usually, he really makes me laugh cos he's genuinely funny but then sometimes, i just don't get it, lol. i'm in danger of developing a fake laugh for those occasions.

Lol yes, my Aqua hubby does that too but it's no biggie for me because I "return the favour" and that's when he doesn't like it! Lol! I told him " you're cute when you're sulked" and we laughed it off. Try not to "taunt" them so much. They like to be the one who "tested" others but dislike it when they're the "subjects" 😄
Maybe I should blame my Aqua mars or Scorpio moon for the "sarcastic remarks" sometimes getting out but God knows I try to be as nice as I can 😛

i am finally seeing him tomorrow!! last time was friday night and we've not successfully arranged anything since but he's going to swizterland for a couple of weeks on tuesday morning so i'm getting in just in the nick of time. meeting his mother. feels like i'm gonna be visiting the queen. it's not 'that' kind of meeting his mother cos it's business but scarey nonetheless.

good thing about aquas, unlike cancers and capricorns, they do not care whether you do get along with their mother or not? honestly !
i created , albeit unknowingly, enough drama when i visited his mother and he was not much bothered by it. though we both, his mom and i, were constantly irritated and disgruntled with each other.

aaaah yes, i remember you mentioning this in connection with your penchant for capes?
i think it's obligatory not to get on with your mother in law although mine was a looovely cappy who couldn't give a crap what i did, wore or said.
this aqua is very close to his mother. he has lived alot in dubai where he's resident and says that he has a very arab view of taking care of his parents. his father died a long time ago and since, the aqua's taken care of her. he's already told me that his mother is very conservative and can be judgemental of women he dates cos he usually ends up with gold diggers..but then i'm a mother too with a son and so i know exactly where she's coming from. she's 80 and so i know ladies of that generation are very stuck in their attitudes but i also believe that there's no mileage in trying to charm her if it doesn't come naturally. if we don't get on, so be it but i don't mind a little compromise to try and get along with her if i have to...like covering up my tattoo, but that's about as far as i'm going.

no, it's just that , what i deduced from my husband' attitude, Aqua man respect one's individuality and he hardly ever interferes how you decide to deal with other people. of course no man would like his mother to be slighted in any way. so if his two " girls" even do not see eye to eye but behave amiably with each other,he would be content.he would never ask you to change anything for his mother, though hiding something temporarily is a fair demand , i suppose. mine also asked me to keep the pentacle tattoo covered in his mother's presence.😉
i also tried to make things good, i just kept on making blunders. but then i was hardly 20 then and a little too high spirited. she was very sophisticated and aristocratic which made me feel like a gawky kid .but now we have sort of accepted each other.
enjoy the banter with him, the more saucy it is the more excited and exciting he will become.
i hope good and substantial things come out of it for you.

yeah, i like his banter and do join in. i particularly like how he remembers things that i've said cos i think that shows that he takes genuine interest. he's not pushy in terms of me not being able to be that flexible to see him cos of having my daughter at home and it being too soon for them to meet. he's also made it clear that he's not into playing the field and wants to concentrate on me. this is the first time in ages where i haven't felt bullshitted by a man. he's really open and honest allbeit a little eccentric but i like that 🙂

My inlaws are arabs too and they hate my tattoos, oh well. Im not hiding nothing, their son likes them, too bad for mama and papa if they dont. They are saudi arabians and very conservative. Im neither. Haha

my dad had this tattoo on his arm done when he was 13. it was a snake wrapped around a sword. trouble was, he grew considerably after having it done and it changed dimensions. me and my brothers called it 'worm on a stick', lol.
