When you disappear, are you afraid of...

Just curious. I keep reading that Aquas do this disppearing act, then reappear, then disappear.... and so on.
Aren't you afraid we'll think you're not into us and that we will start seeing someone else?

Nope not at all.

i figured if you're interested, you'll always be interested. time holds no importance. seriously a month goes by and it really does feel like a day.

Out of curiosity, would you expect to be contacted? Or have us wait until you are ready to contact us?

And, on average, how many times do you guys do the disappearing act and how long do they usually last?

I get that being in a relationship with an Aqua is not for the weak-hearted. You guys are a challenge, and thats part of the fun of it. 🙂

-most aquarius' do this unintentionally. but when it happens, it can be for a good month or two. at least for me.
-but sometimes if he does disappear it could mean he just lost interest. < hard to know

- i blow hot & cold and I'm sure i can blame my gemini moon but i feel like every one's like this to a degree. so no its not that we don't care but at that momentt in time ... we just don't care.

I'm a Cap and I can go days without contacting anyone - busy, distracted, lazy, introspective, whatever the reason. I need my personal space and freedom, too. So I understand it and don't take it personally.

Whenever I do call/text, I get a fairly quick answer or a friendly response. Sometimes I wait to see if he will contact me. Eventually, he will. If he's into me, he'll contact me and if he's not, he won't.

Its just hard to tell whether he's into me sometimes, then other times, its obvious he is.

Problem is being a Cap and a cardinal sign, I want what I want and try not to pushy. Difficult for me, hahahaha! (I'm afraid of being classified as too forward). However, I do have patience and don't give up easily.

If you have your own magical world, he'll come knocking all the time and asks if you can share with him. Then you might want to get rid of him. Fixed signs don't change easily. Be careful what you wish for. Just a thought.

In my observation, Aquas disappear and reappear for the following reasons in relationship:

a. There is a comfort level, even if the relationship is/was/and always will be toxic as hell.
b. The other person lifted them to new heights and the Aqua freaked out bc it was they didn't have their act together.
c. The other person is just a fallback pawn to them.

If you are in situation a or c, the Aqua will eventually stop coming around.

For those in situation b, you may never get rid of the Aqua no matter how assertive you get.

Looks like all the Aquas dissapeared before they could answer lol

When Im hurting I don't want to talk to anyone. When Im way happy I talk to everyone.
We withdraw and sulk. We overthink like you Caps.
Sometimes we dissapear to see if you really care.
Also we're loners..we like our time alone also like Caps (figures youre the sign before us.)
If we don't get that time, we take it.
But something tempting can bring us around..something neet or offbeat or expensive or progressive.

So true! both of my serious relationships were with air signs..an aqua and a libra..and was that one girl...they were glued to me but yet sometimes would flutter off from time to time just being them which would frustrate me a bit lol..

Hmm gud one. Im an aquarius woman. I mostly run away when i feel that my fellow partner is not that serious as much as i am. E.g gemini. But in some cases e.g cancer,i want to stay sticked. No matter what.

I tend to work better with Air sign men then any other...even though somethings they do bother me lol..but thats in any relationship right...but water sign men are too sensitive and whine to much for me..and fire sign men need to much attention. Oh the most detached Aqua I delt with is the one I am dealing with now and he is 1/31. My other three boyfriends were all cuspers..two were pisces cusps 16th and 18th..and the other cap...1/21. the most detached of those 3 was the one on the 18th beleive it or not. But both the 1/31 and the 2/18th ones have mars in scorpio..so maybe thats why? idk

I noticed that i disappear when these following things occur.
1. Things get to serious when im nt.
2. When i feel im nt required

The Aqua I'm with now has a venus in Capricorn. I think that grounds him and makes us more compatible. We've been together six months and may also be way he hasn't disappeared.

Good point! I noticed that Jan aqua are different from Feb ones in terms of aloofness and detachment. In my experience, Feb aqua ironically had more air sign placements than a Jan aquas. My cousin, Feb 17 aqua, his moon is libra. Myself, a Feb 9th baby, a total aqua with 5 planets there. My father, Feb 8th, also had a strong aqua stellium like myself. I can go on and on with the examples. I am definitely aloof and detached, which is a common complaint from my friends to me. I completely acknowledge. As a girl, when I disappear or say go into isolation, it's because I need alone time. If I socialize for a week with people, I burn out and start to miss myself/my loneliness. Then, I disappear so I can be alone. I mean truly alone, not be in contact with anyone. Also, sometimes I hang out with a close friend for 3 days in a row, I feel overexposed to them so I need some time apart from them. That saying that absence makes the heart grow fonder couldn't be more true with an aqua like myself. If I ogerexpose myself to someone, i need time to miss them.

Yes! Absolutely!

The reason I leave people is because I've crunched the numbers and I can see into the future of where it's going.

If I'm with someone who is on tumbler or Instagram all the time looking at hot guys then I'm not gonna change who they are, but I'm not gonna hang around and get get bitter over it.

And it doesn't have to even that, if I see someone I'm into has a habit or something I don't like I won't wait around to fix it, someone posted Aquarians and sexology. They said Aquarians see life as their perfect picture if you don't fit in it you'll be cut out.

Don't mistake , were not disappearing, were actually adjusting our picture frame.

The reason I disappear and reappear on people is only if I find that I'm starting to like them and I know they're not good for me. I'll find myself getting emotionally attached to a relationship that's not a good long term investment so I'll make myself unavailable for a while till I'm not emotionally compromised and then I'll come back all refreshed and ready to have fun again!

I, for one, will not sit around and wait for someone to make me a priority in their life.

Lol but I can't just like people, especially if I find myself in a relationship, I can't sit still and be comfortable in love, I'm always anticipating the rug being pulled out from under me.

I have deep insecurity issues ive read that it's nit about fixing yourself so you have no insecurities but to become stronger so that you tolerate them easier.......also on the same help site it says if someone makes you feel insecure then to take them out of your life...

So if you're with someone and develop feelings and then those feelings become insecure then remove them from your life till you're no longer insecure hey presto you're fixed and then you can go back to that person.....it's flexible and convenient without the mess.

A guy that you know? LMBO!!! Spill it. It could be him. Shit...he was all over the damn place the last I knew. In fact, a crazy female called me one day after hunting me down, because he disappeared on her and she just assumed he was back with me, because she said that I was all that he talked about. She said that he talked about me day and night, always telling her how perfect I was. I was SOOOOOO angry. She was kind of crazy and I felt very vulnerable to any attacks that she might have wanted to carry out. I mean, she wouldn't get off of the damn phone at like 11pm and I was trying to put my kids to bed. They were all teens, but it scared the shit out of us. My son even answered the phone once and was like, "Lady...stop calling our house!" I sent him a scathing email telling him to QUIT talking about me to these women, because one managed to find me and wouldn't stop calling my house crying. It was bananas.

More along the lines of claiming to be a bad person, but others don't believe it. No info as to why. That's the scorp.

My aqua friend disappears all of the time, we have managed to stay friends for like 10 year though. Random phone calls years later lol.

Wow! That's some shit. My sister has an ex scorp that does shit like that. The woman he is with now has called my sis a few times, normally when the scrop disappears, looking for him. He is never with her lol.

Yep...he did it to me ONE time. I never took him back. I flirted with the idea and over a course of two years confessed that I had fallen in love and that I wished that things COULD have been different. He continued to contact me here and there, letting me know what part of the US he was thinking about moving to and how things were going in his current city, etc. In hindsight, he WANTED me to tell him to come home. I just couldn't do that with someone who could (in my perspective) easily jump up and out of a relationship that was as good as ours was. We slept nose to nose when we DID sleep and when we stayed up all night, it was talking about life, laughing, and developing what became private jokes between us.

I've (miraculously) recovered some of that intimacy with my current Scorp, but I like how it's developing slowly. That first Scorp situation came together fast and lightening and now, I don't trust relationships that develop like that...all because of that ONE experience. Nope. Never want a person to just show up and all of the sudden our lives are combined or it looks like our lives are combined. I don't get how people CAN just walk away so easily when things seem so connected. It's baffling and I'll NEVER understand it.

Wow. I posted that question three years ago. My guy never disappeared on me, but I had been reading and wanted to be prepared with reasoning in case he did. I think in the entirety of our relationship, there was only one incidence when I didn't hear from him for a maximum of two days - and that was in the early days of our relationship.

Awww....I just listen and pay attention. Then my experience with three aqua men and numerous aqua female friends. I observe their actions.

One thing I've figured out, though, is no two aquas are they same - and I think yall like it that way. 😉
