carmen sandiego's an aqua? lol

i've been called "carmen sandiego" before becuz of my tendencies to be MIA. for those of u not familiar w/ carmen, she's a character from an old show called "where in the world is carmen sandiego?" which was basically about tracking down this villain who was always MIA and would be found in random places around the world (if you found her). the criminals who worked for her were mostly the ones who'd get caught, but she was the main one hard to catch.

so i was reading about the old show n learned that the carmen sandiego character was actually modeled after an old aqua actress named carmen miranda. anyway, i just thought that correlation was interesting esp b/c aquas r notorious for being MIA! i wonder if miranda's personality is wut inspired them to do that or if it was just a coincidence. regardless, still interesting lol

Interesting. Loved Carmen Miranda's fruit hats. Aquarians are such an interesting bunch, i red 3 biographies of famous aquarians, Nel Gwen's (she was a british king's mistress), Tallulah Bankhead's (the actress) & Roosevelt's daughter, forgot her name. All were hilarious imho.

Dude I used to watch that show religiously! I do see a correlation there. Hilarious! Where in the world is carmen sandiago. that was part of the theme song they had an accpella (sp?) group on that show.
