Watching a movie last night with Aqua. Guys brother got shot and he was hugging the dead guy with a white shirt on.

Aqua: Why doesn't he have blood all over his shirt?
Me: There is some on his sleeve.
Aqua: Not much.
Me: Maybe the blood is all dried up by now.
Aqua: It should be all over that white shirt.
Me: Only you would notice that!

So, are all of you like that? Do you notice the little details in movies that don't match up and question them?

my man critiques too, and if it's astrology we're talking: his virgo planets might be the cause.
He'll point it out and i'll go, ohhhh yeahh youre right'! then i'll add my 2c as well, like say, 'the film's budget was probably low,' then laugh, and say 'or someone was not paying attention to detail at all on that set. maybe they took too many takes, and after too many takes, the blood had all gone' (just an example)
He'll also critique on the cooking channels like we'll watch, "masterchef" - one of his shows, and critique the food.

i actually pay attention to the background as well, like you.

I'm like this. I call the BS card on ridiculously dumb movies, and I can always tell when the main character is going to get leukemia LOL. But if the movie is ridiculous in an interesting way (Big fan of Tarantino despite the crazy dialogue and squirting blood everywhere) then I'm like WOW awesomely ridiculous movie. Case in point, KickAss really really blew me away. Also, I always see the bigger picture in a storyline, so I love movies that make you think and lead to long discussions afterward.
