Believe it or not, he already picked up on your hesistation OR atleast on the fact that you're not yet ready for commitment. Men can tell. So he's purposely holding back b/c like most people, he doesn't want to be the 1 to go 1st OR be the 1 to get let down persay he finally took a run for it & told you how he really felt.
He's staying around b/c he's interested in you & doesn't wanna let you go quite yet. Men are hunters; they don't mind a challenge. Although you not being ready for anything serious yet may keep him from fully opening up/being vulnerable to you, it WON'T however stop him from partially chasing you, testing you, etc.
You both are holding back, but just for different reasons. You're not giving your all b/c you're not ready to give that to ANYONE & he's not giving his all to you b/c he can sense in you exactly what I just said. And most people in his shoes would walk cautiously too if they were in this situation. It's nerve wrecking when you truly like someone & feel that you couldn't have them in the way you want, even if you tried your hardest or did everything right.

I have a question about my aquarian friend. We've been friends for a couple of years now and he is a typical aquarius male. He likes things to go nice and slow. He is independent and smart. He is always the one starting a conversation and he loves to talk. He can be a pervert and joke about sexual things aswell. This does not bother me at all.
