I'll take predictions on this one...

I'd love to hear what the community here predicts on my upcoming 'chat' with my Aquarius.

Like most of the things I've read on here, my Aquarius got freaked out when I tried to get too close. He backed off and when I contacted him he told me that there was a lot to process. I told him we should take a breather untill the dust settled and within 24 hours he contacted me to find out when we could meet to talk. (In my eyes, this is a bad sign).

So I asked him if he wanted to hear my side of the story first. I told him he hadn't been clear on how he had defined us, and what his vision for us had been. That it was hard to go slow, or let things happen naturally when he hadn't been clear and kept trying to push me away when things got to be too much.

He opened up and told me he felt I was too aggressive sexually and that he felt too much pressure, whenever he had said this he only asked to just go slower. I called him out on never saying that it actually turned him off.

I asked him if we should communicate more, I told him we hadn't had any serious conversations because I was afraid it would stir up this kind of tension. He replied by saying "well we have stuff to talk about now for next time, lol" (we have set a night to talk this week).

I told him I hoped we could and to have a goood night, he replied with have a great sleep and tacked on a smily face at the end of the text.

Any guesses if you can rationalize with the Aquarius man? Or when the mind is made up, the mind is made up...

Well, seems like he is being honest. That's not a bad thing.

I'm not sure what kind of prediction you're looking for but the Aquas I know are fairly stubborn. They're not rude about it but I mean the way they feel is the way they feel. What exactly are you trying to rationalize with him? Are you just hoping to get him to acknowledge your side and come up with solutions or do you just want him to agree with you and "see reason?" I can tell you the latter is off the table for sure, but Aquarians are very rational people when you speak calmly and explain your side well. It's a good sign that you opened up a dialogue. He'll have had plenty of time to think about it by the time this talk comes around. And as truecap said he's being honest, so he'll probably continue to be honest. You two might not end up agreeing even after a more in depth talk. Be prepared for that. You both sound pretty certain about how you want this to go. You want to see the relationship progressing at a noticeable pace, while he is wanting to take things really slowly and not rush to define what you two have. Before you talk to him you need to decide if you can even picture yourself slowing down and waiting for him to catch up. In turn you'll have to ask him if once and for all he's willing to pick up the pace a bit or at least try and see how it goes. I personally think he'll stick to his guns. But good luck!

Sounds like you are moving to fast for him? I found when the aqua showed me vulnerability it was akin to a turtle being happy with his hard shell facing down. Let if unfold ..let it be...He is keeping the lines of communication open with you so this is a good sign 🙂

personally i am a sucker for logic and rational debate. Aqua is a fixed sign but can be reasoned with. I am thinking it will go well but thats a guess.

Okay okay.

My prediction will be he wants to talk, slow things down back to just friends and slowly drift away!
