So I was leaving the grocery store tonight and like most evenings, it's pretty busy. I'm not the type of person who will drive around until I find a good parking spot. In fact, I usually park far out in the back of the parking lot. Well, I happened to have good timing tonight because I came up on a parking spot that was open. It was the first angled spot in an row directly in front of the main doors.
So I park, go in and shop. Pay for my groceries and take my cart out to my car. A lazy ass person sees me walking to my car and lurks and slowly creeps behind me and turns on her signal to take my spot, BEFORE I EVEN MAKE IT TO MY CAR. That is one pet peeve of mine, so I purpose take my time taking my keys out, opening my trunk, unloading my groceries, and shutting the trunk.
I walk casually to the "Return your Carts Here" and roll my cart in with the others. I casually walk back to my car, clearly not in a hurry to give this parking space to this lazy lady. I imagine all of this took 5 minutes and this lady waited. About half way to my car from returning the cart, the woman had the audacity to honk at me. I looked at her, smiled, and walked over to her car, and said, "Hi. Do I know you?" She said "No". I said "Hmm, so why did you honk?" She said "Because you're taking your time going to your car". I asked her if she was in a hurry and she said yes....so I said "Hmmm, if you were in such a hurry, then the time it has taken me to walk out to my car, unload my groceries, and put my cart away, you could have parked in that parking spot right there" - I pointed to a spot about 3 spots over. She gave me a gleer and drove off and parked in the spot I pointed to.
I had a feeling that was you, Aqi. I just knew that was you that drove all the way out here to Sugar Land just to honk at me and take my parking space.
What does your score mean? You haven't got a lazy bone in your body! From the answers you chose on the test, it's safe to assume that you've got enough get-up-and-go to tackle life's annoying little duties. You make the effort, even when you're tired or feeling lazy, to clean up after yourself or pitch in when pals need help. You've obviously got a strong work ethic, or maybe you get annoyed when small things are not taken care of. Either way, your effort likely makes things run more smoothly - you won't have to dig through the dirty clothes, for example, looking for something wearable because you haven't done the laundry in eons. Don't feel guilty if you slip into slug mode from time to time, though - it's good for the soul to be lazy once in awhile!
I got 20 on that test but still gets called lazy alot lol.I work nights mostly and night owlish so sleep during the early day so most people associate that with being lazy.Everything everyone does I normally take care of after work in the middle of the night so they don't "see" me doing anything.
Or actually now that I think about it,I do more at night than normal people do.They may have thier dishes washed, everything picked up and superficially looking good all the time but they never mop, sanitize, etc. anything!I worry more about stuff being actually clean instead of a shirt laying on the chair or whatever.
VATICAN CITY: Pope Benedict XVI said Sunday that he was "deeply sorry" over the anger caused by his remarks on Islam and said a quote that he had used from a medieval text about holy wars di
