So my Aqua and I are now back together after being broken up for some months. The breakup was my fault but he's back, just feels like he has a wall around his heart with me. We live 4 hours away, and don't see that often or talk quite as much, and I don't mind it so much. But last weekend was my birthday weekend and they (him and his friends)had a party for me. That weekend didn't turn out so well, so much so I was left feeling unwanted and I was about to break it off (because he was to spend time with me and didnt) but instead I just asked why he didn't and he told me why. Honestly, there's a lot going on with him that I didn't know of and he also let me know (which I already did) that he will be super busy. He also made the effort to let me know that he can take days off work to spend time but his finances won't allow him to. Anyway, after I left, on my way back to my city, he messaged to ask why I didn't tell him I'm leaving. I think he felt that something was wrong cuz he then said that he know he does not show much emotions but he's happy whenever he see's me. I then told him thanks for letting me know cuz at times it does not feel like that, he then said he knows but that's just him sometimes but he has a hard time when it comes to showing emotions plus sometimes when I come he's extra busy. I honestly was so shocked he said those things, he has NEVER talked about his emotions before, and I was just happy that he opened up to me. I'd just like to know, what can I do to help him open up even more? Do I just keep giving him his space and not forcing him until he totally comes around on his own?
