yesterday, its so sad. she was found in her beverly hills motel room. they suspect that she was using drugs again. but nothing has been confirmed.

Its really, really sad. Damn u chem, ive been having a lousy day ever since i read your post- death affects me really deep. But im fine now. lalala *skip,skip*

It looks like it may have just been an unfortunate accident. She was known to take Xanax to calm her nerves before a performance. She was set to perform that night. Reports are saying that she had partied hard the night before and had drank a lot. There may have still been some alcohol in her system and that combined with the Xanax caused her to fall asleep in the tub. Unable to wake herself up, she slipped under water and drowned. Of course nothing can be proved until the autopsy and toxicology reports come back, but I hope it was just an accident and not a relapse of drugs.

She had so many hits that it's hard to really choose a favorite. Two that stand out for me right now are "Lover For Life" and her cover of The Isley Brothers song "For the Love of You".
She was also stunningly gorgeous. She had one of the best smiles I've ever seen.

Thanks for the update Sweet. I sincerely hope it wasn't a relapse too.

Since we are living in a world where many (note I did not say ALL) celebrities and other assorted idiots do NOT know how to properly sing The Star Spangled Banner (and in some cases don't even know the words), I would like to point out that Whitney Houston gave the best performance of that song ever recorded.

She was simply the best!!!

Bobby is of course no angel. I was a big New Edition fan when I was younger. Everyone who followed them knew Bobby was bad news before Whitney even hooked up with him. It seemed like an odd match. Whitney had the persona of a good girl, but there were actually rumors of her dabbling in some drugs before she even got with Bobby. I think his "F" the world attitude gave her the confidence to let more of her true self show to the world and not hide behind the "good" girl persona. She was a Leo. They are definitely not pushovers. In the end she was an adult and has to be responsible for choices in life. Her relationship with Bobby was unlike any other I have ever seen. It was crazy but they had a deep love for each other at the same time. Is that typical of an Aquarius man/Leo woman pairing?

that is true. my mom was just telling me this. she had the church girl persona. my mom said her brother got in trouble, with some weed possession or something. so yea i think bobby just added to the flame that was already burning inside of her. and like you said let her true self show. Aquarius man/Leo woman that is a toxic mix. I've seen it crash and burn many times with my brother (aqua man). LOL
