Showing off in front of an Aqua

What do aquas feel about their insignifant others showing off about themselves (quiote leonine behavior). Like if the person tells the aqua how everyone compliments them and thinks they are so great. Are aquas turned off by this showing off behavior or do they not care and just ignore it.

Do not care, but beyong a certain limit it might get annoying. Do care if they show off their private parts.

Yes I meant like me showing off in front of my aqua guy friend. Like sometimes I am silly to a point where I want to show him how the world finds me attractive so I tell hime what they say to me. I realize it is silly and now am realizing I did it a few times and I should stop.
Did I do any turning off at that point lol? I did it innocently but I dont want to give the impression that I am a big ol showoff. ANyway I did it a few times recently to see that my greatness is validated by the rest of the world. I do it cause sometimes I am not sure if he sees my greatness (or maybe he does and doesnt express it too much to me) so i feel compelled at times to show him that many think I am wonderful lol. I know I am being a goofball, but at least I realized it the minute I did it. Anyway, what do you think. If I stop all is well? Did I do any harm to his opinion of me?

In my experience this does not wash with Aqua guys, my ex would have looked at me disapprovingly and then promptly put me in my place by telling me in about a million ways how I am NOT that great at all.

If you are looking for praise and confirmation of how amazing you are lol trust me you're barking up the wrong tree with an Aqua guy! He may think you're great but he's unlikely to tell you if he feels you are fishing for it.

How can I fix it from this point on?

Just be cool and be yourself, let him make his own mind up - because whether or not he thinks you're great won't have anything to do with what the rest of the world thinks of you trust me, he'll make his own mind up on that thank you.
