Aries w/ Gemini comp.

My divorced Mom and Dad were an Aries(m) and Gemini(d) couple. I've heard plenty of stories from other relatives about how they had this really passionate meeting and married after 2 weeks of knowing each other. They had a very extreme marriage and extreme divorce. My Mom still pines for my Dad, while my Dad keeps his distance.

I don't remember my Dad being able to calm my Mom down. If anything his passivity and attempts at lightening the situation, enraged my Mom further. His resistance to reacting to her, led to her pushing harder and being more destructive. I think it's like standing up to a bully. You don't shrink and try to placate them. That will only make the bully see what more they can get away with. Things just got progressively worse.

I do actually like the idea of a Gemini and Aries couple, though. I feel like they can complete each other in a way, and inspire each other to grow...
