Did he just ask me out on a date?

The aries guy and I were talking and he mentions if I'm not doing anything (2 saturdays from now since we have finals coming up) that he'd like to take me to a movie. I was shocked, and then even more shocked when he mentioned he'd take me to dinner before that (at a nice sit down restaurant). H

Aries are suppose to be blunt and just come out and say things, but he didn't come straight out and say "would you like to go on a date with me?"

I guess not everyone has to say that. There are people who just say "can I take you out to dinner?" And it's him taking me out, not just inviting me along.

Sooo is this a date? Or is he trying to make it subtle so I would be more likely to say yes? Maybe a little of both? Come on, I thought you guys were the bold ones 😛

Seems pretty straightforward to me! He did ask you out on a date- he was just trying to be romantic about it :-)

Yes. It's a date. How much bolder do you want it? It was straight forward. Nobody is gonna ask anyone if they can take them out if it's not a date. If it wasn't a date, he woulda said something like "should we go hang out at this bar, I'll meet you there". He's saying he wants to take YOU to dinner and a movie! How much more date like can that get??

Guess I was just expecting him to come out and say it with how blunt he is. It took me a bit to really accept it as a date since everything has been spelled out with me at this point.
