Message For All You Aries....

Hey guys, I'm new to this board. Been lurking awhile finally got off my lazy butt and registered. So heidy-ho neighbors.

Anyways I see alot of reports on here and about scorpios and aries. I just want to get something off my chest.... *Deep breath*

I am a scorpio myself. But I am so, so tired of the assumption that all scorpios are the same aka controlling, psycho, reclusive paranoid.

Anyhow I dont think it is fair to classify any sun signs as being total bastards. Doesn't anyone remember there are other planets aka moon, mercury and risings to take into consideration? Plus there is something to be said for you were raised as well.

My chart is this, Sun - Scorpio, Moon sign - Sagittarius, Leo Rising.

I think I am one one of the least jealous people you will ever meet. I am not possessive, I give people their space. I am really laid back sometimes too much according to my friends. So that kills the controlling part. But I am not a doormat. I do have backbone though, so I dont put with any head trips or things like that.

Reclusive? I am going to say no on that too. I dont mind going out and having fun partying. Totally down for that. So I am not a boring homebody.

I get on famously with other fire signs. I wish I could attract fire sign girls, but rarely do when it comes to dating. Mostly air signs currently,and some earth.

Anyway dont always judge a book by it's a cover. Otherwise you miss out on meeting fun peeps like your truly.

am 4 I gotta admit it sounds like a freaking cliche. But let me give you the 411. It is not just about your astrological chart it is also about how you were raised. My parents had a healthy non possessive drama free relationship. M

daman computer anways before I was cut off. My mother was a leo and she was my best friend. My dad was a fire sign as well.

Look every girl i date gets weirded out by things they are not used due to previous boyfriends.

1. I give them space. I am not clingy, am very independent. I dont push things when it comes to dating like commitments or whatever. I dont call them all the time asking where they are at.

2. If I am at a party I am talking with everyone. See a lot of the women I've gone out with have been the types guys approach all the time. So their past boyfriends get psycho possev and hover over them in social situations. I dont.

If I see a guy gaming my date, I let him. I put trust in women I date. If they happen to dump me for the other guy, then it is my fault not theirs. There is too many other women out there. Like I said I am a sag moon with mars in sag, so I am jealosu free.

More later gotta get back to work. But I love aries though😉

Sounds like you have a lot of fire in your chart. I think people here are generally talking about the "typical" Scorpio, I have met other Scorps who I would never have guessed their sign unless they told me.

- that's a good attitude. An Aries that cares about someone would NEVER cheat anyway, we're way too loyal and honest and I don't think I'm even capable of liking two ppl at the same time!

ME ME ME

I didn't mean for my post to come off so defensive. I just get irritated easily at taking all the mudslings for the shitty things other people in my sun sign do.

I wont even say I am a scorp to people, that is how embarassing it is. Immediately they assume I am some raging posssesive douchebag wothout getting to know me.

Since my moon sign is sagittarius, I just say that if someone asks. As I feel it is more true to my nature.

Jealousy? Back when I was 20 maybe but I grew out of it. I am 28 now. Older and much more jaded LOL.

To burst you aries bubbles furthur, I have no problems being in a open relationship If that is what someone wants, or due to certain circumstances. Here is a couple of reasons why.

One, my work schedule kind of sucks and it is hard for me to meet someone whose schedule clicks with mine. I am of the opinion if I only see you once a week, that is not a real relationship.

I have one rule for being in an open relationship. 1, the girl I date must practice safe sex. Making sure the guy she hooks up with has a condom. I tell a girl if we are going to have sex with other people, I am always going to wear a condom with her and everyone else.

Other than that, whatever she does is her business. Dont get open relationship confused with swinging. I'm sorry but being in the same room seeing a dude's ding dong dipping away into the girl I am with feels kinda gay😉

First, there is no current aries girl so I am not sure why you think this is about a girl.

As far as swinging is concerned, I dunno. If it were a party where me and the girl go with people we are interested in to separate rooms that is fine. I just dont want to be in the same room. Because I dont want to see a naked guy, eck.

I dont have a problem with air signs, per say. It is just a lot of air signs I attract have a lot of air in their chart. For example, if a girl has a sun in libra, moon in aquarius mars in gemini, she tends to have a low sex drive.

Which isnt a problem for me if she looks cute. But if she happens to be really hot, that drives me nuts. I could never be in a relationship with a hot girl who wasnt sexual. That is like having blue balls 365 days a year.

To be fair, if an air girl has a fire in her chart ex: sun in aquarius moon in leo mars in aries, then it is on like donkey kong. Cause she will be into sex.

I'm sorry but having a combination of scorpio and fire signs is hell on earth. Because it makes my sex drive so damn high. I've yet to meet a girl who has a sex drive that almost matches mine.

I wish I could attract more women who either are fire signs or have it in their moon. But I think I'm doomed to the air signs who are the "I'd rather eat chocolate than have sex" type. 😢

FB, why are you so defensive of your character? I mean you're shouting from the rooftops 'I'm not clingy, I give people space, etc'. In my opinion, those who shout the loudest are the ones trying to hide their true self.

Ok I am giving you the same response to the poster who tried calling me out on it earlier. I have read these forums in the past. Most of them are about how scorpios are the root of all evil, blah blah...

Are they wrong? Not completely. But at the same time, I dont think people should make generalizations like that. I have had bad experiences with virgos geminis and capricorns. But I dont think they are all the same.

I was as you call it, "shouting from the rooftops" to give people examples to reflect that every person is different. Most people who are into astrology on here seem to forget about other planets in the persons chart besides the sun sign.

It also has to do with the type of environment you grew up in. Fortunately for me, I had parents who had a healthy loving relationship. Not everybody does however, and that can influence how they handle relationships.

The major point I was trying to convey in this post is dont judge by first impressions. Cause it is usally the wrong one.

Actually, the experiences I was talking about with virgos and gems had to do with friendships not dating them.

Ok, when did I ever bring up jealousy in regards to virg gems and caps? What I said was I had bad experiences which basically ran the gamut from betrayal to lies.

Well in my experience, if you're not possessive or clingy, you don't feel the need to randomly declare this without a prior personal attack.

And hell, it's not all bad being a Scorpio - some of the most passionate, sensual guys I have met have been scorps. I love them.

I don't think a lot of Scorpios are as bad as has been said either. But yet again most of my experience with Scorps has been with my younger brother, and we get along pretty well. He has Sag rising as well.

Thanks guys. It is not just on here. But people I know who get in discussiona about astrology when scorpio comes up, watch out. In person it becomes a lynching describing every bad thing they ever suffered from one.

When the subject comes up of everyone's sign and it comes to me, I tell a half-truth. I say I am a sagittarius since my moon is in it anyway. For some reason Sags dont get half the bad rep from people that scorps do. People's responses are like "oh that's cool," and then move on.

To clarify something on my sex drive. If it is a girl who looks cute and dateable then no big deal. I am cool with it in that particular circumstance. But if I meet a girl who likes me that is hot then we have a problem.

See that is my major issue right now. Every girl that has liked me recently turns out to be hot. When I discover they have a low sex drive, then it is time to cut the strings. I really believe if you are strongly attracted to a person with low libido it will never work out. No matter how much you love them.

I've seen my friends in those situations. It has lead to cheating and a lot of drama. I am really big on the concept of not wasting someone's time. Unfortunately alot of other men are cowardly and dont heed that philosophy.

Agreed, my chart is mostly Air and fire, minimal water, soooo.... This is why I am probably more compatible with Air and Fire signs and less with water signs of the opposite sex, except maybe another scorp 😉

Yeah, my scorp friend is married to an Aries women, but they might have lived apart more than together in the 11 years of marriage. They are at continual warfare, but still love eachother. Sort of a love/hate thing. He is security for her and he feels responsible for her and his step daughter (vowed he would always take care of them) they also have a daughter together. She was there for him to help raise his son who he has custody of. Very chaotic. Constant drama indeed. They decided to try to make it work recently he moved back into their home and it lasted 3 weeks, he is back at the family property. Pretty sad way to live. I could never live like that. Hence, divorced now. 😉

Oops, They have been together 11 years, married 6.

in response to burrito- i've noticed that scorpios are probably the one sign most all the other signs really like. male scorpios, male virgos and male cancers are TOTALLY different from the females of their same sign IMO. i think the jealousy/possessiveness with scorpios that you're talking about still holds very true to this sign (though more obvious in the women) but you can have a high five for overcoming it 😄
