My Compatibility

I simply do not seem to fit the bill for Aries romantic compatibility.

Sun: Aries

Moon: Aquarius

Ascendant: Scorpio

All the books I've read and websites I've seen of course tell me that Sagittarius, Leo, and Gemini are my best matches. I despise Leos and their lack of consideration for others feelings. Geminis are fickle and shallow and talk way too much. I have a very hard time trusting Sagittarius because they lack consistency and are frankly disloyal in my opinion.

The two signs I am most compatible with it seems is Aquarius and Scorpio. Most of my friends are Aquarians. While they make great friends, when it comes to relationships I'm a bit unsure. They can be cold and distant and lack passion. The sign I seem to be most attracted to is Scorpio. Their depth and compassion is refreshing. Their intensity and loyalty is reassuring, however issues can arise when they try to be sneaky and make power plays. Overall I seem to be most forgiving of Scorpios weaknesses.

Does anyone else experience this? I wonder if it is perhaps the influence of my Scorpio Ascendant that is skewing my compatibility because I'm a fairly Scorpionic emotionally.

I am not one of those full-blown stereotypical Aries in every situation, and can relate on feeling like there isn't that easy go-to sign for compatibility. I also have to say it depends on the person. I do say there is nothing wrong with saying never-ever as an Aries because when things get to be where you are pissed off about someone's persona then why the heck stick with it when it drives you bonkers.

I also think the last 4 or so years has been incompatible time with most anyone but I have found myself around a lot of aquas the past year that I have noticed myself getting mixed up with others I normally wouldn't as well.

Good news for any Aries is that I think we are very adaptable and compatible with a lot of people most anytime and that keeps us satisfied.

I also think rising signs and other influences definitely mix things up a lot, I have a lot of Sag in my planets and I have to take that into consideration when I get so irked at times, again I think we owe it to ourselves to keep putting ourselves out there, we have the ability to keep finding new circles to hang out with and people to connect with, and we are sure to land in waters we feel comfy in.

So if you identify more with your Moon sign, Aquarius, I wonder what the best matches for Aquarius are. Maybe you will find some parallels there with the type of men you are actually attracted to.

Yeah, I've heard that about Moon signs but I seem to respond instinctively in a Scorpionic fashion. As far as Aquarian compatibility it sort of overlaps with Arien compatibility. I kind of run into the same problem with Libras as I do with Aquarians, they are a bit unemotional, whereas I am extremely intense and emotional. I do appreciate their fairness and grace, but they can be annoying shallow at times.

I seem to have a propensity for dating water signs. My last two relationships where with a Scorpio and a Pisces.

The men I seem to be most attracted to are Scorpios with an Aries or Sagittarius Moon or Sagittarius Cusp. It's this instant, strong connection that I can't quite describe. I have not experienced this kind of connection and attraction with guys of any other sign as of yet. I think it might be because I sense a power and force within them to match my own.

Ha ha ha my friends call me a Scorpio on steroids. The intensity of both signs weaves together in a tapestry of pure batshit crazy lol. The worst part is I look for that in a potential mate as well lol.

I am also, aries, aquarius, scorpio except that my moon is scorpio and my rising aquarius - And I noticed exactly the same - I have never met or ever been strongly attracted by a Sag or Leo, (supposedly) the best matches for an aries. Really never. And the only 2 leos I got to meet/date had me run in the opposite direction! I've been very good friend with some aries, but I don't have that many around me. And recently I have experienced the most magical and unique connection ever, with a Cancer- I would have married him in a heartbeat. And believe me, I am not at all the kind that fancy marriage. The experience was so surreal. It didn't go far because we live in 2 different countries, I spent too little time with him and there were tons of other obstacles between us. But I still have him on my mind after more than 5 months away, and I still dream that maybe one day I will meet him again or at least get a chance to experience something that strong with another one. His moon is gemini. Does that mean, we would have been a great match, considering the air and water element of our charts?

I don't really fit with those signs either.. I can talk and laugh with Leos and Sags, but that's it, I don't really feel I "connect" with them (not those I've met). And Gemini.... well those I've known were all really fake and not good at keeping either promises or secrets, always stabbing me in the back and then just move on without even realizing what they've done. I hate being left all screwed over and hurted.

My Asc is in Virgo and I've noticed two of my closest friends are Virgos.. Other than that I'm really, really close with an Libra (though she has alot of Scorpio placements) and I always read that Aries and Libra aren't very compatible.

In love I always fall for water-guys (sometimes earthy guys too). Not compatible with Aries either. But well, my other placements are earthy and watery, so I guess that's the reason. I dont think our sun sign define who we are compatible with, it's more complex than that.

I am the same - aries, scorpio, aquarius, my best compatibility were scorpio, aqarius and gemini man, now I am dealing with a cancer...pretty much mutual misunderstanding!
