Would you consider Aquarians forgetful? My mother seems to be at times. I'm often having to remind her to do things she had planned or errands she had to do (usually if they pertain to me or something else outside of her). I don't know whether she just gets so caught up in things or generally forgets. For example, I have a new pair of glasses that just came in. Since I'm usually away at college, I have to have things sent to me if they are sent to my home. I've been reminding my mother to send them to me for about a week now; while I'm not bothered by it too much (I have my contacts), it made me wonder if this is a little thing among other aquarians.

Ha! I always forget things! I thought I was the only one!!!

I'll ask someone a question & then 20 min. later forget that I asked them the question & then re-ask the question all over again. And people think I'm joking when I tell them that I really don't remember!

My long term memory is amazing but my short-term memory sucks!

Lol it's so interesting. I really do think my mother just gets caught up in so much, so one thing will get pushed from her thoughts while another enters. She has a really chaotic mind (that is somehow kind of organized). It can drive me insane sometimes as a virgo haha.

We Aquas have 1 million things, thoughts & ideas running through our heads at any given time. Our minds are constantly racing. It's damn near impossible for us to remember every little thing.

What's weird though is that we have "selective memory." Boy, are we quick to remember the most smallest detail or something that was said/done 20 years ago. We remember what we wanna remember!

I don't remember what I ate yesterday but I remember catching my ex up in a lie awhile back. I knew he was lying b/c I had remembered every word he'd said 2 years before. He got caught up b/c 2 years later, his story changed & he didn't expect for me to remember his every word. Well yep, I did; that's how I was able to confidently say, "Wait a minute! You told me something different 2 years ago!" Weird.

krysrenee7: your advices and answers are so well put.

i also have a selective memory...

very forgetful:
1)cellphone/keys are always misplaced or lost. or locked in my vehicle
2)birthdays (are any aquas like this?)

even in conversation i'll ask how someone is doing and what they been up too

immediately after the response i'll ask a similar question. -_-😉

i also forget important details of friends and calling or texting them how something went.

Lol I can totally understand that; I sometimes have that happen to me too; it just seems my mom has selective memory when it's really inconvenient for me. Like right now, I need her to send me info so I can do my taxes, but that's gonna be some work getting her to send that haha. But she has certainly pulled the "Insert statement here", wait five minutes, "Ask question again" lol.
