So I'm an Aries Rising.
Tips on how to be the best of Aries without slipping to the dark side?

I'm mostly worried about just going full steam engine and just railroading everyone in my way so often that loved ones get taken out by me being too used to just not caring about how raw I come off.

Im not an Aries sun but I have Aries rising and mars. The "dark" side is simply a point of view. In life you sometimes have to be agressive. The world isnt a gentle place, it's full of people of various backgrounds and people who will kick you while you're down.

Your Aries rising is going to help you not only to deal with those challenges but motivate you to higher sucesses. This "dark" side you speak of is something you shouldnt worry about, what some people might see as dark, some will see as light.

The one important thing with aries placements is learning patience, I cant stress that enough, patience and pacing yourself.

Oh trust me, Cap and Taurus give me patience of a saint almost. Almost.
Can't be passive for long without building up like a volcano.
Hence why I will war with New Age Spirituality and probs make them all cry in the corner hoping karma stops me since they can't/refuse to defend themselves.

Nope, but my chart is set up my mars is aspecting Aries, Scorpio and mutiple Capricorn placements.
So my Mars is basically controlled focused death at my command.

Yeah, my main concern would be losing control. Since I have Moon/Mars aspect, I'd enjoy every minute of it.
The aftermath and legal crap as results from it? Not at all.

Aries are smarter than they let on though. Or well, people give them credit for.

Oh you don't think I'm a typical Aries? I think I kind of am, I have the tough cap moon but Cancer rising, and cancer jupiter...

I have moon/mars too, all in a t-square. You know the remedy for mars/moon tension is sex, right? lol.

Hmm...big 3 are cardinal signs. You have to be active or you are miserable. Can you do meditation?
People think you might be softer than you actually are at first glance, right?

I kind of felt chubby as a kid, that's the Cancer stuff...right? I have to be active, I never get enough sport. I did some meditation in my 20's but don't see the point anymore. I think the Cancer rising does that, yeah I think they see me as soft. But Im not, in every confrontation I'm fine.

Also Jupiter in your 1st house added to chubby factor.
Its supposed to center you and your chakras or something. Meditation in the west is kinda bastardized.
Probs think you're a pushover or softy, until your foot is up their ass and they're coughing up your shoe strings.

What's your mars in?

I did a lot of meditation from maybe, age 15 to 20, and I read lots of eastern religion, Krishnamurti, Anthony de Mello, and I realized there was more to meditation than just the act of mediatating "you can't meditate for 2 hours and then go back to being a butcher", said the former. So I tried to figure it all out, and it's really fascinating. De Mello really takes you out of your mental conditioning...
I have Pisces Mars, close to Sun in Aries. And Neptune in Sag in 5th, so I suppose my hobbies are transcendental stuff...
