Typical Aries? Or Not?

I've known this Aries man for a little over a year and realized he's just too opinionated, insecure, dominating and demanding for me.

So I ended whatever it was we were having and he's still that way! We're at some of the same events this past year and if any guy says anthing to me I get an immediate txt msg or a phone call claiming I should have not had any exchange with certain individuals that wouldn't mind being more than friends and that I should know better. As if I'm not a lady...WHEW!

I'm a LEO, I don't go around staring at my shoe lacings and not engaging in male/female conversation. So his expectations are extremely far fetched for me. Besides, can't tame me with demands...

Thing is, I had an uncle and brother that are ARIES and I completely idolized them as the epitome of what men should be. His birthday is the same as my Uncles. Did I miss something in my growing up? Or is it because I never had to date them?

It could just be the combination of you two. I have a gal friend who is a Leo and she gets on my nerves when we are discussing what should be done, like what to do about a situation etc. I want something to get decided, she wants to discuss all the ways it affects her minutely etc.

There has to be MUTUAL respect or regard between Aries and Leo or its like two wall sockets staring at each other cuz one doesn't want to set off the other, or seem disagreeable because they TOTALLY disagree with each other's behavior at the time.

Not saying Leos and Aries aren't compatibly just from an Aries standpoint there has to be some give and take or its all more like a gym-class forced dance classes with someone you don't know.

I admire the Leo traits, and have loved showing Leo dates with attention, but there are things I need or want clarity on as the dating happens so its not some rehearsed walk in the park.

Mind you other things like Moon, Mars and Venus signs discuss interests within a relationship and it may be other tidbits that caused an awkward turnout.

Its all good, keep learning as we all keep learning, its great to take notes like this about what occurred and how different it was with other folks of the same sign. I know this year its been a whirlwind of learning more about each sign haha

When I am around Leos I try to be nice and jolly around them, but all in all I wish there wasn't this feeling that I might offend their sensibilities all the time. But when the laughing and fun begins I don't see anything to worry about all the same, so much fun 😄

HG - You're right about "not offending sensibilities"; because he can be very domineering and I might take it as "character attacking". So that's when his frustration sets in for us both! Now that I think about it, so was my uncle and brother. I just accepted their comments because they were older and if I didn't I got in trouble with Dad.

I do know that when it's just us, he's a wonderful person. Just us in the comforts of HIS home and behind four walls. I also think you're right about him NEEDING to know exactly where the relationship is going. Just relax("be jolly") and don't sweat the small stuff. I'm with you, if I wanted to be somewhere else; trust me that's where I'll be. He just doesn't get it.

Sometimes I think he'd rather lock me in the closet until he returns home. LOL!

No, it's entirely physical. Emotions are for females. He's had you.

Think of it this way.. Aries are like

A Kid that gets a shiny new toy, falls in love with the toy. Plays with it everyday and absolutely loves it. Now, take it away when he is still playing with it, he will scream,cry and throw a fit... But if he lost interest in the toy, he could care less.

He obviously wasnt done with you, and he is hurt. If he didnt care about you, he would be flirting with others and act as if he never met you.
