There is so much within the field of astrology that I don't understand even though I have read about it. This is why I was contemplating going to an astrologer, not so much for predictions as for asking questions about astrology so that I can understand how it works for myself. So, question is: how do you know that an astrologer is authentic/good? How much should I be prepared to pay and how does it work? How long is a session, normally? I do realise that this would differ between countries, but right now I have no idea at all, so I'm thankful for any answers.
I am more interested in seing the astrologer face to face, than doing something on-line, so names and numbers will probably not work, considering the fact that I'm not gonna tell you where I live. 🙂 I do realise, though, that a face to face meeting would probably make me more suseptible to cold readings.
As I have read in a post here, the astrologer is probably going to need a lot of prep time, but I would at the same time like to know what the astrologer would say about me, just from seeing me(see if he/she would guess my rising sign, for instance), so I guess that would require two different sessions with two different astrologers?
What are your experiances with this? I'd really love some advice.
Do you know if there's a way that you can determine if the astrologer is authentic and good? In short: if you wanted to contact an astrologer for a reading, how would you know whom to choose?
You say it took you hours the first time, in which role? In the role of the astrologer or in the role of the "victim"?
About the patterns the planets make, is that some kind of prediction?
I have only read western astrology - what do you think are the benefits of vedic astrology?
How did you chose your astrologer(s)? Where did you look? Phone book? Astrologers R Us? Is there a way to know that they are legit? Are they certified?
Thank you so much for all your answers! It's really helpful!
I am sooo reading every single word at astro.com 🙂
When it comes to my friends and family, they are divided into two groups: 1. The people who think astrology is BS and wonder if I have lost my mind. 2. The people who laugh at it and thinks I'm probably just kidding. Conclusion: Not going to ask my friends for advice regarding this topic.
Feng shui shop. Awsome! Never even been in one.🙂
I would think that each case is different and would not just want a computorized read, but a human eye on it as well. Am I right in assuming that the good astrologers do the latter?
