Astrology noobie here... Am I compatible with this Scorpio?

Hey guys, I'm a Taurus girl who strongly believes in astrology, but I'm not too experienced with the whole compatibility thing. I was wondering if anyone could give me a little run down/summary of the compatibility between my Scorpio boyfriend and I. We've been seeing each other for over a year, but we fight quite a lot because I feel a whole lot and he doesn't. He does try his best to be understanding, but when he's upset, he can say a lot of mean things out of spite and that ends up setting us back a few steps because I find it really hard to forgive people who are verbally abuse—even if they don't actually mean it.
