Posted by KoniuchaI do tell them how I feel, and sometimes they listen to me and they try not to be so intense and harsh sounding, but they mostly just think I'm too sensitive :
I have Scorpio Mercury and I can be a bit tough. My daughter is Libra Mercury. I do try to watch myself, as she can be sensitive.
Talk to your parents about how you feel. My daughter is 8 and tells me how she feels. I always tell her to feel free to talk to me. Plus I always can sense how she feels.
And I know I'm not imagining it because close friends of the family have noticed too and sympathised with me.
I don't think they realise how they come across most of the time. They're very preoccupied with trying to keep everything going financially and house-wise, which is fair enough, but I think paying attention to how you communicate with others (especially the people you live with) is very important.
Sometimes when I've tried talking to them, they turn it back on me and somehow make it seem like it's completely my fault and don't take responsibility for their own actions. Dad takes it personally when I confront him so then attacks me about what i'm doing, and mum complains about how I've treated her to make her react that way.
Your mom has Aries mercury...opposite of Libra.. Makes sense.
And your dad has Scorpio mercury..although its tough..like Koniucha said, they are intuitive too..
Dont feel pressurised okay.. Its just their way of expression 🙂 it can be harsh but...i have dealt with parents whose mercury squares mine and I think we just learn to deal with it as we grow up.. All I can say is...dont feel bad.
