I don't know if Cardinals have it bad, per se. I do know that last year (mid april) is when I filed for divorce and may 6 is when he was served at work. He didn't see it coming like that (though he suspected I was looking for a divorce when he put spyware on my computer but I had it removed and then got a secret phone and did all lawyer calls and planning under his radar). Sounds cruel, but he would have never let me leave, and definitely not with the kids.
Anyway, I'm digressing......So, I started an unholy shit storm last year, have completely cut out a "friend" who is pretty much screwing the ex and am plowing forward to create my new life without the abuse, the controlling, etc. The interesting thing is I was unaware of the upcoming Grand Cardinal Cross. I feel rather empowered, though, and a bit like an elemental force that's tearing everything apart. Dose that make me a hurricane since I'm a water sign?

how one "uses" the energy determines whether or not these transits, etc are good or bad.
If you're using it/harnessing it, and making it work for you (as opposed to against), then you should tell everyone how you did it.

I wonder how long it will take for none cardinal dominate types to call us whiners?

It's a tough world out there for a Controlling Cardinal.
I agree, it's all about how you synthesize the energy. Not even in any complex way, sometimes ... most times even... it's just about whether you can keep your head down and keep on the grind. When things get hard, most people give up. Which means in those moments, when you keep going, you're on the point of discovering answers that aren't readily available to most

2) Supposedly Cardinal squares/grand crosses are the hardest out of all three types (Cardinal, Mutable, Fixed). Unlike the others, Cardinal hard aspects actively compete against each other.
3) The transits. It seems like for years, now and for years to come, Cardinals are getting slammed by the transits relentlessly while Mutables and Fixed aren't being slammed nearly as badly. Part of it is because of course the two slowest planets (and the two most destructive ones) are squaring each other, and will continue to do so for years to come. Then the eclipses...ugh.
Is it an astrologically known fact that Cardinals are dealt the toughest hand in life?
