Fixed+Cardinal Romance

I don't like being told what to do. I don't "look" for anybody, people just come to me, but the people I am attracted to because they instigated it generally turn out to be Cardinal something. I've liked tons of Libras and Capricorns in ridiculous amounts. There re some Aries who I would like to do the Horizontal Mambo with. Actually, there's one who works at the place I buy breakfast from where if she were willing to date me, I might just do that.

Anyway, what's interesting about this whole thing is that apparently, there's a Capricorn marrying a Scorpio(my opposite and so obviously fixed) on this site, and a lot of people in various places seem to be in a Cardinal-Fixed relationship. There's a Cancer lady at work who is madly attracted to a Taurus to the point where I actually feel sorry for her because in his case, he doesn't reciprocate, and she has been told various times by her employer that her behavior needs to stop(they've even gone so far as to put her in a completely different area).

Does anyone else here feel this way? Why are we so inadvertently attracted to each other? There's not really any particular quality I'm attracted to that is typically associated with being Cardinal, by the way. It's always something completely unrelated. Actually, I've liked almost every sign, just mostly Cardinal, so maybe with Taurus.... oh God, maybe this is the reason for the proverbial harem. 😆 But what about everyone else?

I personally think that she's adorable though the expression she has on her face wouldn't give that impression. I think it's possible he's bothered by her persistence and while I see the problem with what she's doing in some instances, I'm irritated by what her coworkers say especially because if she were a guy, they wouldn't be giving her such a hard time. I would know because some of the guys she works with are so desperate, I've been deflecting them forever as have other women. Aside from her tendencies in that regard, she is actually quite a sweetheart with a fantastic work ethic. I hope some deserving guy comes and sweeps her off her feet.

Cardials are working best for me so far. Capricorns and Libras especially. Aries are cool as well. The only one I've never been attracted to romantically is Cancer. This one seems to work better the other way around.

...in a bossy, "my way or the highway", fixed way. And mutables are a huge hit-or-miss, save for Pisces, Pisces is almost always hit.

I didn't have a modality dating pattern pre-marriage. Just elements pattern that repeats itself in my marriage; Fire/Air. I did however, end up marrying an extremely Fixed man. My Venus in Fixed though and opp. Saturn in his Sun Sign. My Mars is in a Fixed house and in the same element as his Sun sign stellium. My mom is a Cardinal Sun/Moon too but Very Fixed and she has a Mutable and Cardinal dating pattern. I can't explain it in generalities because I'm not big on understanding things in general terms. I'm very random, unsetled and scatterbrained on my own so Fixed is good for me. I don't know how all this randomness, unsettled and scatterbrain is good for my husband though.:s

I don't know about your needs 2N3R, but maybe some people have needs they're unaware of so they're attracted to people with those traits. I don't know how they can tell early on. I don't spend much time thinking about anything related to people's dating and romance patterns. It's not an area I'm generally interested in.

All I know was that while I was really sporadic and unpredictable on our first day and terribly rambly, more so than usual, my now husband was cool, calm and focused and very straight forward in his speech without all the detours I take when I talk.

This is quite interesting, as I'd never think a Capricorn would be random besides Jared Leto. Or maybe it's because I am random and can understand the why of this behavior and even if I don't, I find it mesmerizing and amusing.

Absolutely. He's super dependable, loyal, and loves comfort, which as a Libran I can certainly relate to 😛

We don't have the most "exciting" relationship ever in the romance novel sense that other people may require, but we find excitement in our own ways. 🙂

I actually like his predictability. It makes life so much more relaxed, and makes it easier for me to make him happy.

Meanwhile he loves my ideas, and helps ensure that they're brought into fruition.

Honestly tho, we both have the same proportions of fixed and cardinal in our charts. Both of us completely lack MUTABLE energy!

I find Cardinals more bossy than Fixed! We fixed are set in our ways but we don't feel like we need to tell others how to do things as much as Cardinals do.

I'm just too busy trying to mind myself and be a good mother to tell anyone else what to do and it pisses me off endlessly if people tell me what to do, disrespect my boundaries or try to fence me in! I've written this before. So I don't do that to others. I expect adults to be responsible and take care of themselves. I'd be highly annoyed if I had to tell another adult what to do.

Oh, I've had to unlearn unsolicited advice. All good intentions but I can understand why it's a total red flag to some people. I don't like it either.

Come to think of it; Situations where I can get bossy with others is where they impose themselves on me and won't back off. If I can't shake them, then we're doing things my way or they can take the highway!

This doesn't really answer your questions. I don't know if it even counts as anecdotal. Despite being so Fixed, my husband isn't bossy and if he ever is, at least he can take the heat when I tell him off, lovingly.😉 Most of the time, I like his "suggestions" though and I just take them as such.🙂

Technically, you are sort of answering it because you did mention something you liked. I don't think we're bossy, to be honest; the only time I get enraged and don't want people to question me is when I know I'm right. I am not so "set in my ways" because if I am wrong, I accept it as long as I know I'm wrong because of evidence revealing this to me. I think the older I get, the less hardheaded I become or at least that's how it seems. I think one of the things I find attractive about Cardinals is their confidence because it's so palpable in things as simple as the way they walk and the way they stare especially when they're smiling. It's impressive and incredibly sexy.

I am a cardinal (cap) with a fixed (aquarius). There are not any power struggles. I am not a bossy capricorn, but I am particular. He is also particular, but it seems to complement and we agree on all of it. At times, I'm more rigid than he is, at times on a different matter, he is more rigid than I am. We seem to mesh well as long as I am not trying to push something on him. He prefers me to present things logically and rationally, which works for the capricorn nature anyway.

Eh... I've been attracted to signs of all spectrum... Definitely, do not look for anyone in particular, like you I attract who I attract and I'm attracted to who ever I'm attracted to. Most of the guys I attract seem to be earth though... theres always a Virgo guys that likes me, for the longest time a LOT of Taurus, and few Caps.

Have dated fixed obviously Leo, Taurus... never Aqua or Scorp which I don't come into contact with often for some reason.

Overall, I've dated guys from the all aspects. Fixed, Mutable, Cardinal (currently seeing a Cancer!)

So I guess this Fixed/Cardinal dynamic does not apply to me being cardinal myself.

This is quite interesting because from what I read when I was last attracted to a Libra, you supposedly find predictability boring.
