just curious:

cafeastrology, free natal chart report
if you get yours done (birth time required for accuracy)

and you scroll down to where it mentions house VII, marriage and partnership, you'll get a really brief description of what to expect of your marriage.

has anyone who has been married find these to have turned out true?

i checked out the charts for my parents and they are very true, as well as for two friends of mine who have been married and their's were true as well. the descriptions can be vague, but others kind of hit some specific points right on. it's just a small description so you can't really expect much, but even still there seems to be some accuracy to them. for example: one said that travel to another country would be significant for the marriage, very true, she moved to another country, the one her husband was from. another specified a hasty marriage in which the spouse will be idealized and controlling and a divorce will ensue. exactly what happened.

these are generalized predictions so you could easily write them off, but it's just interesting that they showed up on the charts that they did, and were true.

anyone see if their's is true or off?

"Uranus in VII
Her independence does not tolerate marriage very well. If she does marry, she has little chance of finishing her days with the spouse, unless the partner gives her complete freedom and accepts her unfaithfulness."

Completely false. I "tolerate" marriage very well, though I DO like my freedom to be myself. Infidelity? NEVER. Not once, not ever in my entire life, not physically, mentally, emotionally, or even in my mind LOL

Scrolling down in the same report gives me this:
House VII in Virgo
Marriage more of the head than the heart, which will last in spite of a few hiccups. The spouse is honest, hard-working, intelligent and cunning.

This one is much more true, except my heart is heavily involved as a Pisces, though absolutely, my head even moreso.

Oh, for Heaven's sake... CafeAstrology backpedals repeatedly...

61 Tracey Trine Jason Mars - Saturn
Positive aspect: A life together with few problems, love will develop into friendship, they will understand each other and go well together. It can be a little routine at times, and there is some self-consciousness with each other.

An indication that they will both be faithful.

93 Tracey Trine Jason Moon - Jupiter
Positive aspect: They go well together, understand and have confidence in each other, develop side-by-side in the same way, and will have many joint projects. They will have a happy family, where their children will grow up in a pleasing atmosphere.

-122 Tracey Square Jason Mercury - Neptune
Negative aspect: This relationship can only bring illusions, and therefore also disappointments will follow. These two people can never understand each other and if they insist on living together, it will be with lies and deception.

108 Tracey Opposition Jason Sun - Venus
Negative aspect: The two persons are drawn towards each other, but the union is unstable, because there will inevitably be division, probably through misunderstanding on the sexual level, which may frustrate the partner.

103 Tracey Conjunction Jason Mars - Pluto
Positive aspect: Enormous physical passion. The sexual attraction is intense and insistent. They want to be around each other as much as possible. Their sexual relationship evolves with time, instead of dissolves.

43 Tracey Trine Jason Saturn - Uranus
Positive aspect: Favorable union, linking invention and originality with common sense and thoughtfulness. They might do great things together.

40 Tracey Trine Jason Saturn - Pluto
Positive aspect: Favorable union.

-36 Tracey Opposition Jason Saturn - Neptune
Negative aspect: Unlucky union.

Plus, it's hogwash in a lot of places. Neither of us lies - we ABHOR lying and liars. We tell each other the hard truth, even if it hurts.

This house is crazy. Let's see what I've got in 7th.

Sun in VII.
You take pride in your ability to negotiate, and to establish harmony in your relationships. It is important to you to have a partner, as you feel incomplete without one. You are motivated to become well-liked, and you are especially sensitive to rejection. One of the lessons in your life may be to avoid putting harmony and others' opinions of you above your own needs. Use your social skills and seek out peaceful relations with others, but try not to over-identify with your partnerships and the way you are received by others. You may marry someone with a strong personality.

(The last part sounds very true. I do like to negotiate and keep the peace where I can. I am also sensitive to rejection but I don't think I would let other people's needs come before mine all the time.)

Moon in VII.
Marriage is very important for her, for better and for worse. Cannot stand being alone. Likes business relationships.

(I don't think I like or dislike business relaitonships. If anything I more dislike them actually. And I'm ok with being alone. Saying I can't stand being alone makes me sound so desperate - like one of those people who'll date anyone just to not be alone. That has never been me.)

Venus in VII.
Her fate depends a lot on marriage. Marries for love, children, happy emotional life.
(Probably more true than the others but maybe that's cause it's so short.)

House VII in Gemini.
Marries quite young, and divorces later. A second marriage doubtless with less passion but a lot of friendship. Frightened of living alone in old age.
(Second marriage doubtless? So every single person who has ever had gemini in the 7th house has had a second marriage because that's the only way they could use the word doubtless.)

All the other signs in houses fit me very well though so maybe having sun/moon/venus all in the 7th house calms down it's gemini tendencies and gives more weight and omportance to it.

not married but mine is somewhat off. i do want to have a stable, loving partner one day and have it remain rather exclusive but i'm not set on marriage. the only way that'll happen is if this partner is adamant about it. otherwise i could care less. i do like business relationships (i'm a networking fiend!) but it makes me sound co-dependent when it says i can't stand being alone. i like my alone time, thx. i'm a curious combo of introvert and extravert.

i hope the one about my death is spot on! it's in libra so it says i'll have a long life and natural death. i'll also be happy in my old age. kick ass!

When Taurus in The 7-th House
The native lends him/herself to agreeable domination by others to whom he/she is attracted and for attractive reasons. The native has an agreeable talent for getting along with others and creating affectionate reactions him/herself. This is a happy and fortunate pattern for all kinds of social relationships. The native is primarily controlled or influenced by the other party. Often, marriage and other partnerships bring material benefits.

What a load of ol' crock!
