I'm bored, I hate Good Friday!!!!

It's the only day of the year that nothing is open and it's the only day that i always want to DO SOMETHING like go shopping or eat out or have a drink out!!!! Yes it's probably more because it's the only day, at least Christmas day is full on with family etc. We aren't religious so the day means nothing to us except that everything is shut!!!

So I'm eating chocolate and cooking because I'm bored so I want to eat!

Thanks Lou, problem here is most of the time I can be here you guys are all asleep. Think there is somewhere around 10-12 hours difference! Here in Auss everything closes now even the pubs and clubs...not that I want to hang at the clubs playing those silly poker machines.

Ended up watching Twilight again with my daughters and a friend...bored already half way through so I thought I'd check in again here.

Outside is fairly quiet all around...even my screaming neighbors aren't screaming at each other which in itself is a flaming miracle!!

Yeah my daughters nearly 20 and she is a nut case over Edward!! Hey Vegas sounds the place to be then huh? They only started closing everything down the last couple of years and so now it's illegal to be open at all, use to be until 12 in the afternoon. The clubs open at 12 midnight but it's the days that drag on. Not one to sit and watch the box for long periods of time!

Your just being stupid right PP— You mean to say you've been walking around for 19 years and you have no idea what Good Friday and Easter is— You had no idea why they call it a public holiday or were even curious? You dont have to be a church goer to have your eyes and ears open. And fyi it's not just old, boring & ugly people that go to church.

Over here in Australia they eat fish and prawns! Never heard of any of that before either but it's the Aussie way.

And you were right the first time, it's the celebration of the last supper when he broke the leven bread and passed it around and then the wine a symbol of his body & blood. Sunday is when he died and Monday his resurrection.
