opposing elements and dating?

Do you guys believe that opposing elements can be harmonious in relationships?
Such as fire and water? I know these two are notorious for not getting along but after having so many life experiences, I have noticed that both signs can really teach each other a whole lot.
I know we are so use to seeing the typical pisces/cancer/scorpio combo or the leo/aries/sag combo etc..
But I feel as if there should be more fire and water couples, both have qualities that make up for each other. I have also seen some water couples fail such as, pisces girl and a cancer man, the pisces girls would say that although the cancer guy was able to understand them and charm them, they simply weren't dominant enough, or that the scorpio man was too possessive and vengeful etc..
For fire couples, I have heard some fire men say that dating a fire sign woman is like dating a tomboyish version of themselves. I have always been attracted to and always attracted water signs and I like it because I feel like dating a fire sign wont teach me anything new.

Anyways, enough of my ranting??_ whats your guys opinion??

My ex is a Leo and it was fine in the beginning but he was just too bossy for me. I met a few other Leos here and there but i just find them to be bossy.

Aries men, naw im good.

Sag men, hell yes. Id get with a Stallion over n over again.

For air signs, i dont know why the books keep saying that aqua men are a match but i find them to be horrendously boring. Libra men kinds have a pulse. I do like Gemini men.

Water sign men, i am insane over these fellows.

i should add that aries men feel like brothers to me. thats why i say, naw im good.

So your flaws are ment to be evolved to where you learn to not do what your sign is known for. But this gets lost on people who think we are to be celebrated for our weaknesses.

Use the strengths of your sign to overcome your own and other weaknesses and learn from others on how to be a better well rounded person.

Yes, I definitely think that couples of opposing elements could work well because it would help balance each out. I've had wonderful relationships with water signs (mostly Scorpio men) but that may be due to the fact that I have Venus in Scorpio.
