So...this year will mark my 29th year of living in this body. I heard a few things about the dreaded Saturn Return and I'm wondering for people that went through it...is it really that tough? Can ya'll share ya'll thoughts/experiences with me, please?

What I'm also trying to figure out is if it's going to be more significant since my natal Scorpio Saturn (in the 2nd House) is retrograde, just like how the planet is now and until July (when it goes direct again in Scorpio).

Do my planetary aspects play a certain role into this as well?

Sun trine Saturn
Mercury square Saturn
Mars trine Saturn
Jupiter square Saturn
Saturn trine Midheaven

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a lil shook about what all this means for me. With that said, any insight would be appreciated immensely.

I have a retro Saturn as well.
Thinking about it, was a time of reassessment.
Nothing really earth shattering, but I did make some career changes a few years later. Things were stagnating where I was at.

I feel that way right now at my job; I'm graduating in a month and I really want to do something with my degrees. I want a career and I always have this nagging fear that I won't accomplish much in life; even when I really put in the effort.

What house is your Saturn in if you don't mind me asking?

*Sidenote: I forgot another aspect Vertex opposite Saturn

I have Saturn in Virgo in the 2nd....I was super poor during my Saturn return...and it was just very painful, I can't explain why, life just felt heavy, slow, pointless...but then when it's over you feel soooo good, you feel like you have a lot of life in front of you, but you're also more realistic about what it will consist of.

I'm feeling that way too right now with finances. I had to watch my mom go bankrupt and lose 2 houses and to this day, I fear I'll have thave the same fate. I'm not good with money management, but I'm a diligent worker. I always try to find a way to stay afloat. Thanks for sharing with me.

My Saturn Return hit my 5th house 😢 i went from like 5 sexual partners to 1. My workload increase, fun activities went down.

Pluto transiting my 7th is the harder than my SR in the 5th.

More work and less play does suck. I'm a newbie when it comes to transits, do you kind telling me what you mean by it being more difficult?

SR was alot of hard work and following up on things id rather forget but it was good for me to clear things up so i can proceed without delay.

Withe Pluto transiting my 7th, good grief. Every guy ive met has either wanted to use me for my emotions or my money. very frustrating.

I'm glad you found some good in your return, DMV. I think I may have had a similar transit some years back cause it sounds similar to what I went through with every woman I met.

I just looked up my transits for the next 3 yrs and some don't seem as bad, but according to this astrolada site; my Saturn Return starts tomorrow. It shows a lot of transits happening this year. Just in May, I will have:

Saturn square Mercury
Jupiter trine 6th
Jupiter trine 2nd
