Signs in Positive/Negative Planets

I just came across this, it's a list of which Signs are at their best in certain planets and which are at their worst in certain planets.

There are 4 different categories -- Ruler, Exalted, Detriment and Fall. "Ruler", obviously being when a sign is at it's best, as is "Exalted" where a sign also works well in. "Detriment" is where the sign is working in a negative way and is not an ideal planet for that particular sign to be in, and then of course "Fall" where it's the absolute worst placement for the sign to be in and can have a negative reaction for people.

Here's a list of the Planet's and which Signs fit in each category.

Fall: Libra

(So, obviously Leo and Aries are comfortable in the Sun sign, where as Aquarius isn't so comfortable and Libra is downright awful in the Sun sign. So I guess if you're a Libra, it's not exactly a positive thing, apparently it's the worst Sun sign you can have)

Detriment: Capricorn
Fall: Scorpio

(We've obviously heard about the negative of having your Moon in Scorpio, and this pretty much confirms it, where as it's good to have your Moon in either Cancer or Taurus)

Detriments: Sagittarius & Pisces
Fall: Leo

I would be interested to see if someone has a majority of Negative or Positive in their chart.

Sun Capricorn-Neither +ve nor -ve
Moon Sagittarius-Neither +ve nor -ve
Mercury Capricorn-Neither +ve nor -ve
Venus Scorpio/Sagittarius (I was born during the swith-over and relate to both)-So part -ve
Mars Libra-Negative
Jupiter Sagittarius-Positive
Saturn Scorpio-Neither +ve nor -ve
Uranus Sagittarius-Neither +ve nor -ve
Neptune Sagittarius-Neither +ve nor -ve
Pluto Scorpio-Positive

I guess that adds up to "Neither +ve nor -ve", lol.

I have Mars in Taurus and Sagittarius in Jupiter. None of the rest fall in anything that was listed.

moon: aquarius (?)
mercury: leo (-)
venus: gemini (?)
mars: aries (+)
jupiter: gemini (-)
saturn: sagittarius (?)
uranus: sagittarius (?)
neptune: capricorn (??)
pluto: scorpio (+)

mostly neutral but slightly more positive. balanced.

can a planet ever be exalted in its ruler?

that's an extremely simplistic and literal way of looking at it. just because someone's placement is in fall or detriment doesn't mean it's horrible. all it means is that theoretically they will have more difficulty using that planet's energy to its fullest potential than someone who is graced with a more favorable placement.

so someone who has libra sun is far from doomed...they may just need to experience and learn certain things before getting a firm grasp on what the self is and means. whereas a leo is theoretically born with a stronger sense of identity and individuality.

prince, because that is a lot of mutable energy you got goin' on. plus pisces and gem both have a lot of potential for being bisekshul. it's true, you should look it up sometime.

well the main reason it surprised me is because i've never seen anyone with so many planets in the same signs. you have a very clear predominance of pisces, gem, and cap. (mostly pisces & gem). and considering that pisces and gemini are not really that similar...it just seems like that would make a very interesting person.

why aren't you fond of them? any reason in particular?

P.S. I assume that Mercury in Pisces isn't that great but Venus in Pisces is? Am I right. Could someone also explain to me why these positive and negative aspects mean and how do they affect a person, or what do they affect in a person?

P.S. My rising sign (Ascendant) is Libra

Saturn - Dignified by sign & accidentally dignified by house.
Jupiter - Dignified by sign & accidentally dignified by house.
Chart Dispositor Venus (elevated-MC) - dispositor of chart ruler is Taurus - Secondary Dispositor.
Mars in Leo is a VERY STRONG planet sign combination! (so dignified by Triplicity) FIRE meets FIRE!

i also have 1 (air) stellium & 2 singlteon planets (mars/venus) and possible Grand Trine ..

i have NO detriments or falls, the rest are all neutral.

this is wrong, jupiter rules sagittarius and pisces and is exalted in cancer. it's detriment is in capricorn.

That's right ME, Jupiter is Dignified in Pisces, but not Exalted..

Jupiter is exalted in Cancer ..

Exactly! In the Tarot, every card having to do with communication is ruled by air. They even have the astrological symbols on them in some decks, many of which were designed centuries ago. OVERRULED, SHAKA! lol
