Sun or Ascendant

Which do you act more like—
Your sun sign or your ascendant..and does anyone act more like their moon sign over the other 2—

I really do feel like I act like my ascendant/moon sign (Taurus) than my actual sun sign (Cancer)....why is that—

BUT I can honestly say that in relationships I'm definitely a Crab lol if that makes sense..

I'm mostly moon, until I feel comfortable. Then my sun comes out. I'm also feeling pretty influenced by my progressed sun (libra) lately.

My progressed chart has a lot of air and water (lots of libra and scorpio) and will for the next 20 years or so. I definitely feel more of that influence than my natal.

I haven't ever felt the influence of my rising, but I do believe that others feel it. I have always and almost exclusively attracted Aquarius men, and I can come across as humanitarian to some degree but the fact is I'm not, really.

I act mostly like my Sun and Ascendant combined.

I don't ever feel like my moon, which is weird because apparently my moon is very important in my chart.

It's the one I'm less interested in though, I need to read about it more but I'm yet to find a description that I can relate to. :/

@Sultrykitty..good stuff, tell me more.I always wondered what "progressed chart meant"in astrology..and some other astrological terms I see..but can you clear this up for me.If the sun only changes sign every 29-30 years and you're a leo, don't that make you..60 something..and one more thing do you add 30 years for leo in that calculations or no being that that's the sun sign you are born under and even though different people are born various degrees of a sign— No right?

@Crabriot: yes, you're right. I was born later in Leo (August 14); my sun moved to Virgo whrn I was 4. I'm almost 45 now, and 5 years ago I moved from Virgo to Libra. I definitely felt the shift, more so in the last couple of years.

It's said that your moon is who you are when you're alone. But my Aries moon traits are so forceful and fiery that they're super evident in my normal interactions with people and how I act in general. I definitely act like my ascendant too, Gemini. Gemini asc and Aries moon just feed off of eachother and create so much energy. 😆

Capricorn sun hides out in the shadows. my core values are supremely Saturnian. I act loud, flighty, funny, and it disarms everyone. But they know nothing of my Capricorn-esque plans & schemes. Or is that more Scorpio? I do have sun in H8.

Oh yes, caps are planners. Always keeping the eye on the prize. Not.scheming so much, but that can also be a shadow side of caps.

I think those who know me see all Sag (my sun) but before you get to know me I come across very Scorpionic (my asc). Many people have told me I'm so different than they expected me to be based on their first impressions

My Leo moon mostly comes out when I'm mad or upset...and also the standards I hold myself and my loved ones to.

I know that sounds so astro generic but it's true.
