I agree that we all either have or will lie at some stage. But I believe there are honest people, that strive to be honest, even if they make a few hiccups and then there's those who just don't really care.

A lot of fire energy in the chart always makes someone honest (unless they also have critical aspects to neptune)

Sun conjunction mercury and/or venus, is an aspect you can always count on though. These people are honest with their feelings towards you. - also Mercury conjunction venus.

Jupiter/Mercury makes someone who is likely to exaggerate the truth a little bit in a more dramatic way.
Neptune/Mercury makes someone doubt whether or not they are actually telling the truth or not. They can be confused about what they are actually meaning at all, so they likely tell you one thing and you can't be sure if they mean it the next day.

Libra/pisces energy tells you what you want to hear, to avoid hurting you.
The opposite signs - virgo and aries, can be brutally honest with you, for better or worse (depends on whether you actually want to hear the truth)

So it's a complex one...I am a virgo sun for an example, but I have pisces moon and mercury square jupiter/neptune. So I can be very confused sometimes, and other times it feels like my mind is all clear and shit. But I never really know for sure what I am feeling about anything in fact.

Thank you, that's helpful to know. Unfortunately I don't have any of these aspects though, so can't relate haha. Still unclear about where my honesty is coming from, apart from my fire of course.

I don't really understand the Merc/neptune thing, you say you're confused to whether you're speaking the truth or not, how does that work?

I need honesty to hold you to your words..I can be naive and gullible so I trust what ever shit you say to someone is real....

Yeah, but when people ask you a question and you tell them the truth, it's not actually what they want to hear, they want you to lie to them, so that often gets you in to trouble.

I find honesty makes you quite vulnerable. I'm always surprised when I find out something somebody has told me is lie, whereas it's obvious to everybody else.

this. alot of fire. Fire is honest, brutal, blunt at times. which is why their opposite, air, is known for lying alot. but if they have alot of fire, specifically in venus, moon, Jupiter, merc, mars, the truth will out. it's something i've learned about astrology so far. i dont know. i saw you before mentioning air signs in general. i dont care what you say about gemini or libra, those who have dominant libra or gemini ect can chime in. e.g. Ignoring prejudice is dishonest.
