Interesting article. http://thecosmoreport.wordpress.com/2012/12/07/the-venus-factor-why-you-like-what-you-like-in-a-mate/<BR>
Venus in Aries — —The Fast and the Furious?? — These lovers are impulsive when it comes to relationships! Red means GO to them when it comes to the objects of their attraction. For the woman, she goes after her mate. She beats him over the head and TELLS him you??re coming with me and you??re gonna like it! Ok, ok, I'm exaggerating, but she does tend to make the first move. For the man, his lady tends to be the bossy or fiery type. He appreciates the bold and assertive nature of his mate. She argues and he likes it! He thinks it's sexy to see her so feisty and passionate. He may pick a fight just to see that fire come out of her. The Venus in Aries folks enjoy competing with their mates, especially if it gets a little physical (wrestling anyone?). They also find a man or woman in a uniform attractive (ie. Police, fire, EMT, military). Dust off that Halloween Costume! They also like to be the first, so don't mention you brought your Ex to the restaurant you are eating at because your food may end up in your lap! They love a pretty/handsome face and will fall fast for it. Enjoy the courtship with these Venus in Aries natives while it last because it may end just as quickly as it began!

Upside: They motivate and are motivated by their partners

Downfall: Can be selfish and focus too much on their needs in a relationship.

Great 1st Date: Shoot some hoops; go to the Gun Range; Go bowling. It's a win-win if it's physical and competitive!

The Wedding: Quick, fast, and in a hurry! Rushed for one reason or another.

Venus in Taurus — —Let's Go Steady?? — Venus in Taurus people are slow to get involved, but once committed the Earth has to literally crumble beneath their feet before they DECIDE to let go. If the sex is good and they are taken care of financially, they are happy campers! They find pleasure in providing for their mates or their mates providing for them. Their moral foundation (whether positive or negative) is the deciding factor as to why they commit. Venus in Taurus loves the stability they get from their relationship and believe me, they notice when their partner starts acting —different??. They enjoy tokens of appreciation — from plants to big ticket luxury items. They want to feel valued by their partner.

Upside: Once committed, they are in it for the long haul.

Downfall: Possessive — with their belongings and with YOU. Polyandry and Polygyny types need not apply.

Great 1st Date: Dinner is a must and the food better be good! Ambiance is key. Appeal to all of their senses. Wear clothing that feels good to the touch and watch how they can't keep their hands off of you. Make sure you smell good too!

The Wedding: Expensive and the food will be delicious! Outdoor where the fresh green grass will be a perfect backdrop.

Venus in Gemini — —Call Me, Maybe??- The trick to getting a Venus in Gemini native to commit is to keep them guessing! They love mind games, word play, and quick wit. When you find them asking you 1,000 questions, know that they are attracted. They love variety, so like Michael Jackson said —yooouuuu are not alooooone??_?? — many times they will have two or more partners (oops, I let the cat out of the bag). You must keep it interesting and flood them with information to keep their wandering minds busy or they will get into mischief. Just saying. They appreciate thought-provoking and thoughtful gifts, especially if it's hand-written. Don't be offended when your Venus in Gemini person talks to you via text, FB, email, or any other form of social media versus calling you. They love to use their hands and stay in constant communication with their mates anyway possible. Chances are they are multitasking, so texting is convenient for them.

Upside: They will keep you laughing and interested

Downfall: Slick tongue and white lies.

Great 1st Date: Play 20 questions or go for coffee at the local bookstore. Keep it casual and light.

The Wedding: All the childhood buddies and neighbors are there. They might have two ceremonies (one casual and informal and one that everyone else wants them to have).

Many times these Venus in Cancer natives choose partners based on their family upbringing or if they can see themselves raising a family with their potential mate. These folks are sentimental so don't get mad when you find a photo of their first crush tucked away in the drawer. They truly enjoy making a home feel —homey?? right down to the fresh lemonade and homemade chocolate chip cookies. When they say —I want you to meet my family??, you know it's serious! Be clear and don't lead them on or you will feel the sharpness of those crabby claws!

Downfall: When they feel insecure they can get snappy and suspicious. Also subject to mood swings.

Venus in Leo — —Mr. & Mrs. Popular ?? — Venus in Leo natives attract A LOT of attention from both men and women. They are fun to be around because their sheer presence puts people at ease. And due to all of this attention, their partners are thrust into the limelight as well. Imagine being courted by the Prince or being the beau seen keeping the Princess company. That's going to create quite a buzz right? These folks HAVE to have a mate they are proud of so they can show them off, so many times they will get involved with —the Jock?? or —the Homecoming Queen??. They feel their partner is a reflection on them because their ego is tied into their relationships. They are fun-loving mates who purr like a kitten when you stroke their ego. As long as you show them love and affection they remain loyal. Remember if you don't, someone else will. They often attract partners with children or children are an issue in their relationships.

Upside: Generous, warm, and playful.

Downfall: Wants you to drop everything for them. Attention is a must. Would you turn your back while a ferocious lion is in the room? That could get ugly??_

Great 1st Date: The Amusement Park; Game Night; A play. Whatever it is make sure it's fun and they can connect to the inner child

The Wedding: Just think of the movie —Coming to America?? — The Royal Wedding. The color Orange and Gold would be a lovely touch.

They are supportive, love to be of service, and can even sew that button back on your shirt that you didn't even notice was missing. They have a knack for doing all the little things that make their partners?? world run more efficiently. Venus in Libra — —You Complete Me?? — Folks born with Venus in Libra are attracted to the perfect gentleman or the graceful lady. They appreciate a mate who knows there's a time and place for everything. These folks are so charming — all they have to do is flash a smile or bat an eyelash to put others at ease. They are always looking to maintain balance so they find partnership essential to keeping full perspective (as opposed to just seeing it their way). These folks are quite the social butterflies and play perfect host/hostess to any party. They find pleasure in decorum and have a flair for beauty and fashion. Venus in Libra people also committed to being fair and keeping things even-steven. They aren't a stranger to a good debate, but it's to make sure they are seeing both sides. These folks are rarely single, so get in where you fit in! They love relationships and doing things with another person. If you want to have a great time, a Venus in Libra knows just how to make that happen!

Upside: They will wine, dine, and refine you. They like to keep the peace.

Downside: Can be too flirtatious and flighty. If you don't go they will take someone else. Jealous types need not apply.

Great 1st Date: Dinner at a 4-star restaurant and dancing at the hottest club in town. Guys bring flowers and ladies wear a flower in your hair. A kiss will end the date-whether it's on your cheek, hand, lips or otherwise — they enjoy a good kiss lol.

The Wedding: Pure elegance. Beautiful floral arrangements and expensive china. Pastels and pinks.

Venus in Scorpio — —Fatal Attraction?? — Relationships for Venus in Scopio natives are challenging. They experience the extremes — —either commit totally with all of your being or don't even ask for my phone number?? is their line of thinking when it comes to a partner. Intense right? Well these folks have a very hard time seeing in gray when it comes to committing. Subtlety is not their strong suit because they exude passion when they are attracted to someone. Sometimes people feel they come on too strong because they have a hard time harnessing their desires. These folks want to merge completely with their partners — mind, body, and soul. The sexual element in their relationships is very important to them. These folks are NOT to be toyed with. You cross them and you might want to notify your next of kin — you are dead to them. They make excellent mates for those who are looking for something long term. They have a knack for magic, rituals, and healing (yes even sexual healing). They are attracted to powerful, influential, and wealthy types.

Upside: Once committed you can bet your life on it.

Downfall: Jealous. Obsessive (voodoo doll may or not be used). Stalker-ish.

Great 1st Date: Murder Mystery Dinner Theater or a Magic Show. Allow them to be investigative. Release their inner stalker in a good way

The Wedding: Secret. Only close people in their life invited. Deep, rich colors.

Venus in Sagittarius — —Long Distance Love?? — The Venus in Sagittarius native is attracted to anyone who can expand their mind and add to their quest for the meaning behind this thing we call —life??. They mix and mingle with mates from all walks of life, cultures, races, and religions. It's an enriching experience for them to share philosophies with their partners. They appreciate a mate who is adventurous and will up and go with them on their next journey (whether it's traveling in conversation or physically to another country). Many times their mates are at a distance or stay on the road. They love to laugh and make others laugh. Venus in Sagittarius may also get married more than once. They will commit to a partner who allows them wiggle room to —do them??. I call it —the dog on a long leash?? idea. If they don't feel boxed in they will stay put and appreciate their mates that much more. Can you handle that? They enjoy receiving gifts that are of a foreign, religious, or cultural nature.

Upside: They will teach you a lot and keep you in stitches while doing so.

Downfall: They are hard to pin down. Unless you can handle their inner nomad, you will not be their final destination.

Great 1st Date: A Comedy Show; Racing Go Karts; Cultural Street Festival where they can experience many cultures at once. Make it a great adventure!

The Wedding: Destination Wedding or at least it will feel that way with all the foreign foods. Shades of purple.

Venus in Capricorn — —The 3 Month Rule?? — Few and far in between is what comes to mind when thinking of Venus in Capricorn. These folks are serious when it comes to relationships. Cautious and calculating, they will put your patience to the test before making a commitment. Venus in Capricorn natives are attracted to corporate or professional types, especially the ones giving out the orders. Women with this placement have a soft spot for the hot construction worker or the man carrying the blueprint (he has a plan — pun intended)! Venus in Capricorn folks also date outside their age bracket (Cougar and Sugar Daddy style ) or their mates are very mature for their age. These people have boundaries and restrictions and sometimes come off a little cold or mean to their partners. They have HIGH standards and enjoy being in control. Don't expect them to shower you with gifts or compliments everyday — that's not their style . They prefer to show their appreciation in being dutiful, respecting your union, and honoring your needs (not wants). There's no way you can rush a Venus in Capricorn down the aisle. They have to be sure they are sure and that takes time. Speaking of time, they are a fan of beautiful watches, antique jewelry, and vintage goods.

Upside: Once they commit they are in it for a long time.

Downfall: Demanding. Gets hung up on past failed relationships. Uses partners for personal gain.

Great 1st Date: An historical excursion through the city learning about all the ancient monuments; Anything dealing with history is a winner.

The Wedding: Traditional. Elders will have a roll in the ceremony. Antique or vintage theme.

Venus in Aquarius — —We Met Online?? — These Venus natives were meeting people online when it was still taboo! Venus in Aquarius people have relationships that are so unusual and unconventional that outsiders often scratch their head in awe of how they make it work. They always have a unique story of how they met their mate online or through a friend and that —it happened out of nowhere??. They are attracted to the weirdos, oddballs, and geeks. The idea is they like mates who dare to be different and stand out from the crowd because they surely do! They are friendly and cheery and people tend to just want to be around them (especially strangers). They are committed to some humanitarian cause so make sure you have your work clothes handy when they ask you to help them build a house for Habitat for Humanity. They often don't realize when someone is interested in them and they keep a cool fa?ade when it comes to someone they like. They often will develop a friendship with their potential mate before taking it to the next level. These folks truly want to marry their best friend. When the relationship is over, they turn the lover switch off and the friend switch on lightning fast. They appreciate sleek, techy, modern gifts or anything that is futuristic. Don't try to hem them in either — that's a battle you will never win. They need a mate who is independent and has their own life. Stay detached and they will commit, smother them and they will disappear faster than a plate of hot biscuits!

Upside: They will keep things exciting and they love to surprise their mate!

Downfall: Sometimes their partners feel neglected. Breakups are unforeseen and blindsiding.

Great 1st Date: Group date with friends! They love groups of people and enjoy people watching. If they like you they will sneak in moments alone with you.

The Wedding: Untraditional and out-of-the-blue. They may even elope. Friends play a major roll.

Venus in Pisces — —We Are One?? — Venus in Pisces people are selfless, compassionate, and idealistic when it comes to relationships. They believe in their partners and inspire them to live their dreams. These Venus natives have a knack for the arts, so they write their mates poetry, paint them, photograph them or sing to them (or they attract these types). Trust is a major theme in their relationships because somewhere down the line their kindness has been mistaken for weakness. They are —in tune?? with their mates, always picking up on their energy, and knowing what's going on without a word being spoken (psychic or telepathic connections). They see their mates spirit over everything so they accept their partners unconditionally (they should use caution when it comes to the drunks, druggies, strippers, and criminals — they see past the negative). Their relationships can have a confusing bend to them as they don't really know what to label it sometimes. They just go with the flow and accept that —it is what it is??. Venus in Pisces tends to get too caught up in the fantasy of their partner that they don't see what's really there. Quite the conundrum. Religion and beliefs are also a topic of discussion when it comes to them finding a partner that fits their life style .

Upside: They believe in unconditional love. Committing to your spirit within.

Downfall: Delusional. Sneaky, keeping relationships hush-hush.

Great 1st Date: Open Mic Night; A concert; Dancing the night away! Make sure it's something that you two can escape from reality for the moment J

The Wedding: Spiritual. By the beach or water will play a role. Or in a place of worship. Sea greens and ocean blues

The bolded ones are the only things true for me. It's same old Gemini bullshit, mainly.

I feel the same way as you. The bolded is accurate and the rest is fuckery. What's sign is your Mars under if you don't mind me asking? I think that plays a big factor too. Mine is in Cancer.

For the life of me, I cannot understand how people can call themselves astrologers with descriptions like this. Either people are resentful of Scorps, envious of Scorps or just clueless.

I have to agree. I'm Venus in Scorpio. About the only thing I'd call consistent is the loyalty and fidelity description. I don't exude sex or scare people (at least, I hope not). I am also very private about my romantic life. When I married, NO ONE knew about it beyond my mom, the groom's parents, and a few select friends. Everyone at work was stunned that I never said anything about it.

I have to agree. I'm Venus in Scorpio. About the only thing I'd call consistent is the loyalty and fidelity description.

...and in my opinion ^^^that speaks volumes. Loyalty..very hard to come by these days.
Why the HELL if someone does not want to be with you in a relationship, would you stalk them? Shit, I'd hug them and thank them for sparing me wasted time. Just makes no sense to me at all..

I can honestly say I have never stalked my former spouse or any other former love interest. Not worth the energy and effort.

No, I wouldn't physically stalk anyone. But, I would keep tabs on them out of curiosity.

I agree with you both. Only people who are IGNORANT and jealous of scorpio venus placements and don't understand it,

okay i just read the description. that shit sounds like the same shit they say about mars in scorpio. why so defensive ViS?

Because at least Mars Scorp is described as being sex god, wielding great power and extremely competent at life.

Whereas the only good things said about ViS are simply nice ways of reiterating the psycho desperate stalker stereotype.

I get that ViS is in detriment, but so is Aries, and they're not nearly so picked on.

google "moon in scorpio" "mercury in scorpio" "mars in scorpio" and you will see the same shit said about all the personal placements in scorpio. you venus in scorpio people aren't special. you guys do whine about it more than everyone else though. venus in butthurt?

😛

What do you mean? I am not whining. I am disagreeing with the representation of Venus in Scorpio. I have it and I don't stalk. I'm not prone to jealousy or obsession.

Disagreeing with a stereotype isn't "butthurt."

I'm telling you, these astrologers are GREEDY for some scorpio venus action. They are ooohhhing ahhhhing and want some action too. They're also horny as well. And they got a little scared of scorpio mars because of Mel Gibson's crazy rants. lmao

The Big Attraction:
There's something soulful about you, made all the more intriguing because you keep so much private. Yet you're a "doer" and your ambition makes you attractive. Since you're discriminating, those that get into your circle know that it's a kind of honor. You win and keep respect, and know that's the basis for an enduring relationship. You handle your connections with dignity, albeit a bit on the cool side, but this sets you above the fray. Your loyalty is unwavering when a mate has proven to have the right stuff. Once you commit you are in it for a long time.

THE FAMOUS: Steve Jobs, James Dean, Brandon Lee, Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Lautner, Ville Valo (HIM), Bradley Cooper, Paul Newman, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Clark Gable, Humphrey Bogart, John F. Kennedy, Jr., Kiefer Sutherland, James Spader, Giovanni Ribisi, Billy Idol, Rob Zombie, Adam Lambert, Ryan Seacrest, Cindy Crawford, Britney Spears, Joan of Arc, Nero, Johannes Kepler, J. D. Salinger, Brandon Boyd (Incubus), Kim Wilde, Peter Steele (Type O Negative)..among a few..x

Venus Cap Events: Nazi Germany, Introduction Of The Euro, Fall Of The Berlin Wall

don't understand it, are gonna say stupid shit about it. Stalkerish? there are other signs more stalkerish than this venus that is a FACT. and astrologers are just fascinated intensely about this venus. I think they all want to have sex with it. So be careful you two!!! watch out for them.

Oh, don't worry. I recognize idiot when I see it.

It's interesting to me that the descriptions of Scorp/Venus focus so much on the negative and minimize the more positive traits (loyalty, commitment, monogamy).

😱 OMG...this is me to the T

I couldn't find a thread on Pisces Venus just saw this. No wonder I'm single...

i agree. the get alot of people hot for them and it's UNREQUITED most of the time. they might like the attention to a degree but the stalkerish syndrome is too much. i kind of feel sorry for you all... all that attention cause people can't help themselves. It's similar to a bunch of groupies screaming and vying for the lead singers and band members.

Pretty accurate. I will only expect the person to drop everything for me if he expects me to do it for him too. And no, I don't usually attract men with children, most of the seekers are childless. But yea love and attention is key, really simple with us.
