I'm new to astrology and trying to read my chart. There are some things that I understood but lots of things that are confusing and I need your help.

Here is my chart..

Sun : Virgo ----------- Ascendant : Sagittarius
Moon : Pisces ----------- II : Capricorn
Mercury : Virgo ----------- III : Aquarius
Venus : Libra ----------- IV : Pisces
Mars : Taurus ----------- V : Aries
Jupiter : Aquarius ----------- VI : Taurus
Saturn : Cancer ----------- VII : Gemini
Uranus : Libra ----------- VIII : Cancer
Neptune : Sagittarius ----------- IX : Leo
Pluto : Libra ----------- Midheaven : Virgo
Lilith : Capricorn ----------- XI : Libra
Asc node : Capricorn ----------- XII : Scorpio

Okay in my chart I can read that My Sun is Virgo, Moon is Pisces, Venus is Libra, Mars is Taurus etc.
And that my 2nd house is in Capricorn, 5th House is in Aries, 9th House is in Leo, 12th House is in Scorpio etc. But when I read statements like —Saturn in Capricorn in the 7th House?? then I couldn't understand how can see that my Saturn is in Cancer in — House.

Please explain me understanding this...

Modern astrology display the astro data in circular charts.
This chart can be divided in 12 areas - aka the houses.
The house system starts at house I which is called your rising or ascendant
and this was the position in which the Sun rose above the horizon at the
moment you were born. For you it is sagittarius.
The zodiac signs have an order, so after sagittarius comes capricorn and that is
the sign your second house is in and so on till you have all signs ditributed in your
chart. So, you can see in each are (house of the chart a planet falls in). Your house vii
starts in Gemini and goes up to Cancer, so that means that any planets placed at that area
will belong to that house.
In summary:
1) Planets (sun, moon, etc) are in a sign (virgo, scorpio, etc)
and
2) in a house (i, ii, etc)
3) in aspect to other planets (that is another topic)
Start by reading up about basic interepreations of your placements and have fun!

I agree with the "typo" somewhere, as most of your planets (in-sign) WITH house cusps are FAR out of proper alignment.. (eg. mercury in virgo in the 3rd house of Aquarius? Jupiter in Aquarius in the 6th house of Taurus?; etc.) Impossible.. I would double-triple check all your info-data-input on various charting sites before going much further.

In the meantime, here's an excellent astrology site on HOUSES, planets, aspects, etc.

I got this chart from cafeastrology. It is in table form but when I paste it here, it all messed up, that's why I used dashed lines.

Anyways now I'm pasting it as it is.

Moon Pisces 15.10 II Capricorn 9.18
Mercury Virgo 27.36 III Aquarius 13.57
Venus Libra 28.44 IV Pisces 18.54
Mars Taurus 8.50 V Aries 19.47
Jupiter Aquarius 2.43 R VI Taurus 15.35
Saturn Cancer 3.39 VII Gemini 7.57
Uranus Libra 21.20 VIII Cancer 9.18

No problems, I could understand that sweetie.
If you saw your chart in a circular image, you can imagine it is a pie and that it is divided in 12 slices (the number of zodiac signs).
each with roughly 30 deg (it is not always like that) so those numbers are the degrees occupied by each planet in which of those slices.
As a practical example, you asked about your saturn in your first post. Your 7th house starts on Gemini 7,57 deg and ends in cancer 13.57deg
Since your saturn is cancer 3.39deg it falls inside your 7th house and you have "saturn in cancer 3.39deg in 7th house".
Start with the basic delineations to understand your chart better.
1) rising in sagittarius
2) Sun in virgo in 10th house
3) Moon in Pisces in 3rd house
You can look up in astro.com and astrolabe.com, they give you the basic descriptions.
This is just the mechanics lol Then you have to go deeper about the intrincate meanings of their interaction 🙂
