All of my life I have mostly attracted water and earth people. I rarely am close to fire and air. I find this odd being that I'm a leo. I would like to say it is because my chart is dominated by earth/water but my chart is all sorts of mixed with about equal parts of every element (although I think fire scored one point higher). Then it got me thinking about my cancer man. I'm in the most intimate relationship of my life with a water sign. I'm slowly starting to realize that he is also closest to those elements whom he's supposed to be incompatible with.
He often falls for leos and sags. I'm a leo and he's told me he's never been in love like this before. He gets along with both his parents but has an easier time with his mom (libra) and tends to butt heads with his dad (scorpio). He adores the drummer in one of his bands (aqua) and they're like brothers yet the drummer for one of his old bands (a pisces) used to grate on his nerves all the time. He also visits and regularly talks to only one of his many cousins (gemini). Our regular circle of friends consist mainly of earth and fire. Interestingly enough we are all leos, aries, virgos, and taureans (although one of the aries will bring his aqua gf around usually and occasionally this cap guy comes around). He never has a run-in with the fire signs (or the aqua gf) of the group but sometimes there is tension with the earths. my crab actually becomes quite attached to the earths at first but eventually there is some kind of hostility that develops over time. he was such good friends with one of the taureans but the taurus grew jealous and resentful of my cancer (over women of course... particularly me) and it caused the taurus to distance himself and their friendship to crumble.
anyway, this is my cancer's chart: ascendant- virgo, sun- cancer, moon- cancer, mercury- leo, venus- leo, mars- virgo, jupiter- cancer, saturn- leo, uranus- scorpio, neptune- sag, pluto- libra, lilith- cancer.
he's dominated by water, so that's where he's not like me, but other than that we are quite a bit alike in our style s and tastes in people.
