What do you believe in regarding astrology

Are you sure about any of it and do you have personal experience with creditable data? What part of astrology do you witness and feel willing to contest to?

The internal area of charts. Progressions and parts. Without that, none of the talks I've had with others over astrology would be memorable to me.

I've found no credible data that can back up the amount of decisions external, social astrology tries to find patterns within and that's natural. The only good source of data that comes to mind off the top of my head is the Gauquelins. But astrology based only on the planets and trying to label people's personality is now what I accept as meaningless bullshit. GreyWiz said it best yesterday, the universe is like a supercomputer. We have no way to factor in every decision it holds.

That makes sense. brilliant honestly. it turned to scape goats. failure of destitute you find yourself in to hid from truth. why don't people just embrace their calling?

I think it's our choice how we associate or dissociate ourselves with our charts. Looking at charts is only to make sense of what we go through ~ it may or may not be true, when its true ~ it's true only to an extent.
It gives a dimension.. *this* or *that* could be the reason I am like this. Point is, how we improve ourselves, overcome the weaknesses or learn to deal with them.
Astrology is a fun exercise to look for pointers that (could) indicate my nature and improve or learn to grow. I'm sorry if I don't make sense lol

Agree! We're free to work on the already suggested/incorporated features in us, yet I think there are some fundamental events indicated by our charts that are not easy to avoid or/and maybe they shouldn't be...

Still I'm not sure if I believe in this complex structure. Or for what it is good.

Ok, when somebody has the trait xyz in my eyes, I get an idea that he can have the sign uvw in his chart. but then? what does it do? I have still handle him. He can still have other traits in his character and other signs in his chart.

it's for me a game. and a coding language. that is why I'm attracted too. but specially with horary you see how dangerous and sensitive this game of encoding/decoding is.

So, do I believe that the positions of the planets the minute I was born decided on my exact personality? Heck no! But there are a lot of things that, although it doesn't make any sense to me logically, it still works. That's fascinating to me. People's venus signs have been creepily accurate to me, for instance. I can't believe in it logically, but I can't write it off either. I feel I need a lot more research behind me to be able to determine what I believe in and not.

Do I think astrology is useful? Heck yes! You can look at your chart or someone elses chart and ask yourself: is this true? Do I identify with this? Is that person really like that? Truly. And by that, I feel I gain a lot of self awareness and awareness of others. I look at myself in ways I would never have without astrology, so I am very grateful!

@OP- I think astrology is a guide to know oneself.. it really shouldn't be used for compatibility results. Astrology is huge and wide. Pick one or two topics on astrology and study that. It's simple enough but hard to explain sometimes.

(Creditable means that the person has compiled some sort of experiment that is noteworthy. It could be impersonal, or published. Your call. It's all interesting to me)
Data that has been complied by a creditable notable human. I want numbers. Statistics, something I can look at and say, "Yes, this makes sense."

It is hard to explain. One looks up their chart they find all these coincidences, and suddenly, life makes sense.

I feel it could be a bit too voodoo, like as if we shouldn't know it and continue to live in the age where this information is not available.

I'm neutral. It's fun and I know my own placements already but I'm not going depend my whole life on astrology. If there's something i want to know about astrology or my own placements then I'm just simply gonna ask.

I never make decisions based on astrology. The only way in which astrology plays a role in my decision making is that it, imo, makes me better at making decisions due to my (imagined?) increased self awareness and my (imagined?) increased awareness of others.
