What do you know about Mayan Astrology?

I've been researching it off and on for a few years but not heavily. I know a decent amount but I'd like to hear some other people's experience with researching it.

There is more to it, I know there is.
I know theres an overlay with the tree of life called the mayan galactic star map which explain where in the universe you are from. Supposedly I'm from Artcurus. But after that I couldn't find more info... I know you have an earth family and a galactic family but I cant figure out how to recognize which one a person fits into based on commonalities. Ive looked into many peoples mayan charts and I noticed my friends and i share some interesting things..

For instance, I believe two people in my life were teachers sent to me, granted anyone can be a teacher if you try to see them that way but these guys were different. It was at a time that I was asking for teachers to be sent to me. So after looking at their mayan charts I noticed that their center (conscious self) was the same symbol as the one that represents my "subconscious self and hidden helper" the bottom symbol of the chart. One of them actually had my conscious self symbol in their hidden helper spot too.
So thats one thing I've seen..
It's also helped me recognize why I'm so drawn to mirrors and find them so fascinating. And other people Ive met that are equally intrigued by mirrors also have this particular symbol of White Mirror.

I know this has to go much deeper but I'm wondering if anyone else has looked for the relevance of it in their lives.

I've also read a little about wavespells which seem a little like transits in astrology, just in a different format, different symbols and with different information.

Interesting fact :Mayan year has 260 days, which is same to woman's pregnancy time.

There are 20 different Mayan signs. You need your birth year, month, and day, then need to convert it into Mayan calendar to find out what your mayan sign is.
There are online calculator, that you can search from the internet and find out your Mayan Sign.

But still, from the internet you won't really find anything insightful or elaborate.

I suggest you a book about Mayan Astrology, It's called " Maya 2012", the authors are Dmitry Zima, Nadejda Zima - Russian authors. So the original form of this book must be written in russian language, I am not sure if there is English version of the book.

The book title sounded kinda cliche or even sort of fake to me, but I decided to give it a try. After reading this book I was extremely impressed by it. Whoever is saying things like " mayan astrology is fake or it takes 5 minutes to learn it " are seriously ignorant about it. Mayan astrology is not a well known astrology like western 12 zodiac one, so you gotta research about it. Also there might be some unreliable sources, which makes it all confusing.

After reading the whole book, my conclusion is that it is not something that can be ignored. Mayan astrology really need to be studied, researched more, which I hope may happen in the future.

All that 2012 hype wasn't really about the ending of the world. Mayan astrology is an extremely ancient one, written in ancient language, so there is a chance that it could be mistranslated.

From what I learned from the book, Mayans only said that 2012 is the beginning of new era according to Mayan calendar, just like the year 2000 was beginning of 21st century according to modern calendar.

Thanks for the book suggestion 🙂 and yes I'm aware of the whole 13000 year cycle and how we are headed back towards the sun indicating a time of enlightenment ahead but I'm mostly wondering about the KIN numbers and how your mayan signs place you in certain groups etc.. Maybe it'll tell me in that book.
