Do you think the events of Akira originally begins December 6th, 1982 and continues in 2019? Because I noticed this between the movie and the manga. With WWIII happening July 16th, 1988 and the events of Akira happening 31 years later in 2019 in the movie. And with the manga beginning December 6th, 1992 and the events happening in 2030. Now, as I mentioned above. Did World War III in the manga happen on December 6th, 1982 and the events commencing in 2019? If you have seen both the movie and the read the manga then you would notice the difference. Who the hell would the Olympics in 2031?
