You bought the book, but somehow never got around to reading it.

1.Why did you buy it (pick one that you bought, please)?
2.Why did you not read it?
3.Will you someday?
4.How is its condition?

This book inspired me to write THIS topic. Since DXP is so convenient, I thought I'd start an unread book thread.
I plucked it out from my shelf and I haven't read it yet.

1. I bought it because the summary looked really interesting - its about this girl who met her career destiny after a following her dreams. Plus, 'twas at a book sale.
2. I guess its about birds - something of not much relevance to my life right now. I always look for some relevance.
3. Perhaps someday I'll pick it up.
4. NEW.

1.Why did you buy it (pick one that you bought, please)?

I gathered the content should be really interesting and funny just like him, also a page turner as it's written from his wifes (a psychologists) view point.

2.Why did you not read it?

Because I tried a few pages but didn't like her style , it was too bumpy, didn't flow, boring.

3.Will you someday?

Probably not unless someone else re-writes it in a different style , have tried to get past the first chapter a few times.

4.How is its condition?

Years old but exellent condish.

Interesting. Wonder how their relationship is like. The wife must have psychoanalysed him to death!

BURN AND DIE YOU STUPID CLOWN, BURN AND DIE; I HATE YOU!!!!!

1.Why did you buy it (pick one that you bought, please)?
Because....I'm a bookworm, and it was a presents; it was also for 25 cents.

2.Why did you not read it?
I wanna keep what is left of my sanity.

3.Will you someday?
Maybe later, later...or never...maybe burn the damn thing..

4.How is its condition?
Mid condition like the rest of my books; just 'cause I don't like it doesn't mean I'm gonna mistreat the book....burning it is not mistreating it, it's a form of salvation of humanity.

You can donate them to children's libraries... hehehehehe!
But seriously, the clowns weren't very scary, I dont remember being spooked by them greatly.. I think Christine scared me a bit more, or was it The Shining?

Yeah well, I was eight years old when I saw the movie and have been afraid of clowns ever since. I also saw pet cometary around that age and it freaked me out too; the brain on the guys was visible and the main guy was just a retard for burying his wife, stupid idiot, you deserve death!!

I'm such a scaredy cat when it comes to those kind of book and movies 😢

Hey I didn't watch the movie! I must have had a deprived childhood *mock bawls* 😄
But I have never been 'fraid of clowns though. I think this book spoilt clowns for young children..
I put down the pet cemetery book halfway..
Eww regarding brainsssss... I always knew I wasn't into surgery, or anything forensics!

LOL, Sophie's World is a wonderfully engaging book. Tip for reading the Bible, skim through 'the begots'.

I'm proud of myself, I got rid of all the books that I haven't read and put the rest in PDF format and then sold them.

I've got this rule now that I won't buy a book unless I've read it through PDF first because I really hated having unread books around.

I want to rid of all those books too, except the astrology ones. They clog up space. I only borrow and never buy.

1. I didn't buy it, it was given to me.
2. The person who gave it to me told me about the plot and I didn't find it interesting. I accepted the gift anyways, but
3. I'll probably never read it.
4. The condition was brand new.

At least 5 textbooks
1)I was required to read it for my courses
2)I am more of an auditory learner and at the end of the day, my exam consisted on 3 essays and they were open book. By
the second year in my program I realized I didn't need to actually read it cover to cover to get a great mark. A little
lazy, but you try reading 3 (20-30 pg) chapters for each of your 6 classes, while working, volunteering and writing
papers.
3)....Sure, why not? But not today.
4) New
