Anti-recycled Cancer clap trap?

Cancer definitions usually suck.

Good thing Cancers have a good sense of humour and don't often take offensive to our negative traits. I think Cancers have the most honest expressions of emotion out the 3 water signs... good, bad & ugly.

I thought this was one of the most realistic descriptions on Cancers I've found. Do you agree with some, parts or most of it?

Cancers and their love for money, sex and alcohol

Cancers are thee center of the zodiac, taking on traits from Aquarius to Sagittarius their mind works in mysterious ways. They are the toughest and the weakest of all zodiac. They don't like to fight, but they can and will if necessary. Disgusted by their tough shell and sharp claws cancers can be hurt or upset easily. A cancer is very alert to body language and energy, be it good or bad a cancer will pick up on it and quite often they will mirror that energy, they don't want to??_ They don't like too, they just can't control it, it's not something they can just block out. Unfortunately.

They love money, sex and alcohol. Sometimes a little to much??_ Although they are not party animals, they know when to say no. They are protective over their territory and if they feel something close to heart has been taken from them they will fight to their grave to obtain it. Don't fuck with a cancer, embrace their craziness and love them for it ??_ it's not easy being a cancer, they put their friends and family before them selves even if it means giving up their tickets to their favorite band or giving you the last piece of grandmas home made pie, just to make someone they love happy. Cancers are materialistic but they know money cannot buy happiness.

I think Cancers have a delayed response to things. It's like we go into shock and our first initial instinct is to grip tighter. But then... reality sinks in and our "revenge" comes out sideways. Some could call that manipulating emotions, but perhaps we are just mirroring the evil that was done to us, but we do it indirectly

The difference between exclusive and non-exclusive for me. When I was going thru a 'date lots just for fun' stage, I was very upfront and honest about it.
Actually, men found this a turn on and more of a challenge. The less I wanted them... the more they tried. But sorry, if I don't have feelings... I don't care what you do.

I could have multiple relationships, not for me tho because my Cancer Venus craves one-on-one.

Is it true that a cancer will go through a stage of their lives (where I think most people do)where they want to lets say "experience" many but when they are have moved through that they are ready to hunker down and find that true commitment and security in that one special person?

God do I identify with this statement. I do indeed have a delayed reaction to surprises, in particular unpleasant surprises. I'm shocked, don't know how to respond and absolutely have to go back int my shell to process what just happened. When I feel betrayed, my natural instinct is to strike back with all my might. You hurt me motherfucker and I'm gonna make you pay. But I'm going to wait to get my revenge. Revenge is a dish best served cold. However, having gotten revenge on those who hurt me, I've learned that lashing out only makes me feel better short term but long term I get very embarrassed at losing my sense of proportion and cool. I've made an ass of myself over reaching to defend myself and lived to regret it. I'm learning to take a more detached approach. I've never done the multiple partner thing. I'm not materialistic either. I do have a wicked sense of humor and I think Cancers have a well earned reputation for our laughable looney ways. Our humor is what actually saves us from that black hole of despair. I do think I'm a combination of fierce strength and extreme weakness. I don't trust myself but when I'm motivated, I can do anything I set my mind to. It's that cardinal energy that rises up and can't sit on the sidelines. It's like I'm constantly doubting myself until the shit hits the fan and then I find this incredible strength to rise to the occasion. Cancers are stronger than we realize. We think we're weak until tested.

idk what you mean by "experience many"? Many what... people? places? experience many experiences?

Yes, to the latter. I guess it depends on the Cancer if those experiences involve sexing different partners.

But in general, its a traditional sign and the dream is to settle down and be happy.

I meant, experiencing many different partners. I may be wrong, but from what I have understand there is a short period of time where they typically experience a time sexing different partners, but compared to other zodiacs signs this is very short lived as I agree the cancer is deep rooted in tradition. Have to admit, I love that traditionalist view.

I am!! Been a long time since I have felt this type of happiness. I am not questioning him or his faithfulness. It was more things that I had read through me studying cancers. I am enjoying ever.single.moment.

hmmm we're really great at "doing it". Love beer and a good whiskey sour... money isn't everything... food rules. Yeah I agree! I don't see anything wrong with this.

When I was cheated on I shut her out of my life. What made it worse was that she tried to blame me, saying that I pushed her to it. Distance in a relationship doesn't make you fall off a cliff onto another guy. It's ok though, she's happy now from what I can tell and so am I. Things have a way of working out.
