Now, this is not the first time I've done nice, special things for him. When he deploys overseas, I send him care packages, once I went to his home while he was at work and redecorated his whole room with his favorite sports team because he's been wanting to do it for so long.....tons of stuff like that. And every time he says that "I can't believe you would do this".
And he doesn't say it like he can't believe I did the deed. Its more like he can't believe I did anything nice period. It kind of upsets me because I'm like "do you not remember anything I do for you"—? He never gives a straight answer, just says he appreciate me and I'm a good woman.
It's getting annoying
