Are we suckers?

Do you guys think we (Cancers) are more likely to fall for a fake sob story than the other zodiac signs? Are we easily manipulated when someone makes us feel for them?

Other signs feel free to chime in, as well (regarding Cancers).

Basically subtle passive aggression when we want someone to do something our way. I think we just know how to hit the right switches.

I'm good at spotting fakes, and won't fall for theirs. I do feel genuinely sorry for some people though, and don't pity people who only have themselves to blame for their situations especially when you tried to help them and they threw it back in my face.

I'm good at listening to little old ladies at the bus stop telling me their life stories, I don't have the heart to ignore them. I seem to attract talking strangers all the time and I just know from the moment they spotted me that they're also gonna sit next to me and talk the whole journey. 😉

Do you ever feel bad for the fakes, though? I think that's my problem. I always think they're doing it for some deeper reason, and it almost always turns out that they aren't.

ITA about people who seek "suckers" lacking humanity. It was probably an inappropriate/derogatory word for me to use, which wasn't my intention.

I can't speak for other Cancers, but I think I tend to blend logic and intuition. 🙂

I may not be a Cancer, but coming from someone who's chart is almost completely water(Saturn in Cancer) I'll say this...its the hard part of loving. The term "sucker" is subjective. I'm learning that perception is reality and its how you are perceived. If they think you are a sucker, they will treat you like one. But there are others that realize the emotional aspect of loving. That even when it seems like you're being harsh you're loving them because you instinctively know that what they are doing will lead to their destruction....and possibly yours.

The strength Purr comes in pushing forward despite others perception. Continuing to love in the face of selfishness. Don't let them change your HEART!

Lol, no kidding.

Not this Cancer... everyone I mean everyone has a sad story somewhere in their life, it's not an excuse you can always use to get you by, and when you throw your sad story out there so easily to whoever is when I am suspicious and question the authenticity of it.
