Even when you've withdrawn and gone distant from her?

I don't call or text everyday but i surely check in a couple of times a week. Do you consider that going distant? If not I don't really do the distant thing with love interests, more likely to do it with friends. That too mainly because I am analysing or planning something, so I need some quiet to do my thinking.

Yes, Especially if he's in his shell and it's his birthday! He may not be very social, but he will very much appreciate the fact that you've thought about him on his birthday. Be who you are, don't let his mood change what you would normally do if he wasn't in his shell. My ex-cancer loved that!

It's odd.. I want to show some birthday love but rather than bake him something soulful I settled for a birthday text so he doesn't feel overwhelmed.

Too bad, may I'll be able to go all out for him next year, who knows..

Happy Birthday to any withdrawn Cancers out there 😉

Tomorrow is my birthday too. I want the acknowledgment of my birthday but nothing big. I've been a shell too.
Tonight we talked.

My cancer's birthday is today. I texted him "Happy Birthday" at 12:30am. No response. I haven't heard from him since he told me he loves me has trouble trusting me. Even though I've done nothing for him not to trust me, that's a personal issue and he admits that. smh. I know Clueless Cancer said not to get mad about no response but I'm pissed. First you profess your so-called love for me, then you disappear and now this. Smh. I think it's time I delete his number. AGAIN! And before someone says it, his azz was NOT sleep when I sent it either, because he made a tweet about 25 minutes after -__-

Most people don't realize how much alone time a lot of us need. Don't bother a withdrawn Cancer on their birthday. Get a gift if you want, but don't make a big production out of it or dramatically surprise them.

Some of us are really terrible about returning calls/texts or even paying attention to our phones when we're in a funk. It's usually nothing personal.
