Met a Cancer man about 3 weeks ago. Pretty good guy from what I can tell and a really good friend. So when we met we talked like we've known each other for years. He explained how he was in a 9 year relationship and that his ex still calls periodically when she's not with her boyfriend to "check on him" and tell him she misses him. One thing I do love about this guy is that he's very honest and open about everything. Since we've met we've talked literally everyday all day. He kept mentioning how when I go out to invite him so I finally did on Friday. But he also like emphasizes how good of friends we are and that it's possible we'll be more. I was going to the place that we met because my friend works there so I invited him to join me. When I got there he explained that he invited his 2 friends (one guy and one girl). I was cringing a bit because I had been courted by 2 cancers before and BOTH of them did that the second time we got together and I hate that. The entire time we were there was a complete disaster lol. Once his friends got there they definitely gave me the cold shoulder. I was texting another guy that I've been talking to as well and I noticed once he saw that it was a guy he started texting our waitress that he'd known for a while and they eventually were flirting the entire night. I couldn't tell if he was trying to make me jealous or what then his friend (the girl) blatantly asked him if him and I were talking and I didn't see what he said but then she said loudly that she liked the waitress better than me lol. It was like I was in middle school all over again. I don't think I seemed very bothered by the situation so the waitress kept leaning over to him and flirting. After that we went to another place, with him and my friend and her boyfriend and he was sweet. I explained the weird vibes I got and he was really apologetic and felt it too. Then after he invited me to his house to meet his dog and we had a good time. He emphasizes how good of friends we are so that's what I thought we were but I'm not so sure he thinks that. I invited him out again yesterday and he ended up not showing up but texted me all day today even though I tried to keep the convo short. What's his deal?
