Slowly getting there with cancer man but still confused how to keep going

I'm a Taurus. Not one to chase someone. But this cancer man has got me being very persistent. I'm not pushy but not giving up either. I doubt myself sometimes and start to feel like I should stop and then things get better again. He gives signs that he wants me to keep trying. Every time he gets nervous though, he pulls back again and gets awkward.

I have to go see him Wednesday evening (he lives almost 2 hours away) because he had to save my life and recover an item for me that I left in the cab when we went out this weekend. He is so sweet and was very touchy feely all night then after he (rather aggressively which I kinda enjoyed haha) tried to take my shirt off (it came off), he stopped and cuddled for a bit then rolled over and didn't cuddle me for the rest of the night. Was even a bit awkward in the morning. Still super sweet though. Bought me a coffee. We cleaned his kitchen together. He walked me to my car. Gave me a big hug (as usual). Even mentioned something significant that we had talked about the night before to let me know he remembers I'm sure!

I'm going to suggest that I bring some food I made and that we watch a movie or something when I go. I don't know how he will respond. One of his best friends told me he gets really nervous when I'm coming to see him.

Any suggestions you have to get through to him would be marvellous!!!

I believe the nervousness is a sign that we really like someone. It goes away with time as we adjust and get comfortable. Touchy feely- yep, that sounds right. hehe. (We can be rather aggressive in bed when we want to be to those we like- >3

The homemade food and movie to cosy up to sounds like heaven. I'm not cancerian but my other half is so I know how much he loves the homemade stuff and cuddling up whilst watching a movie. How long have you been together with him if you don't mind me asking? In the beginning my cancer was difficult to read, I couldn't tell what he was thinking but I just went with the flow and it paid off.

Stop trying worrying about every single move you make. I get it, you want to make the best impression possiblr. But your doing fine on your own without advice.

Honestly him taking your shirt off could of been a test. I've done that before and stopped before it got too intense, I had respect for my ex bull girl. We know what we have with you lady's. We also get sacred. We don't wanna fuck it up.

I can't speak for your cancer, but I don't mind when my lady tells me what she wants and or is very direct. The problem is some cancer men will run like like baby's when you tell what's up lol

Oh and we like too hide for a day or so. BUT... I've never left a women of my interest without a good morning or a goodnight text. Sometimes goodnight is 4pm for me...could be 8am... tomarrow. I'm more of a phone call guy but too each there own lol

Took me some time to think this over lol thank you for your input! I'm trying to just chill and let things flow but he's making it very hard with mixed signals lol great then really distant.

Do you mind me asking what kind of "test" the shirt may have been? He really pulled back shortly after that. In fact every time we get a little intimate (even once now over texting) he pulls back. Almost like he's trying to push me away.... I don't get it lol
