Cancer woman and Aquarius Man

Do you think cancer woman and Aquarius man can get along— I love this aquarius man hopelessly. I find him sometimes so detached, probably because of his work and family. But he gives me plently of surprises and I get to believe he loves him. When he is with me expresses his love, but sometimes I hardly get to see him or talk to him.

Your Going to hear many different answers to your question, but I realized a long time ago, that its better to experience things yourself, I would never want to miss out on a great relationship, just because someone says it wouldn't work. I Honestly Believe Anyone/Any Zodiac Sign Can get along/work despite if astrology compatibilty says there compatible or not. I Believe Love Concurs All. Don't Get me Wrong I Find Astrology Very Interesting & yeah it is fun sometimes comparing Zodiac Signs/birth charts, But I think I can choose who I can get along with or can't get along with by myself. But I will say it can sometimes give you a better understanding of yourself & other ppl traits/qualities.

I was on and off with an Aqua man. I have a personality disorder, so I made it worse because I need EXTRA love and attention. Aqua men are SO detached emotionally in relationships. At least mine was!

One night [after she caught him cheating] they were at my uncle's for a barbecue and he was hugging her and kissing her and telling her and everyone else how much he loves her. The NEXT DAY he asked her for a divorce. He told he had to get a divorce because he met a wonderful woman and was in love and wanted to marry her.

I would be concerned that you said he is often detached and you don't see him much. The fact that he acts like he loves you when he's around doesn't necessarily mean anything.
Just something to be wary of....

thats kinda how my libra ex was with me angel....very convincing in her profressions of love but its a two faced kinda thing. as a cancer on the cusp of gemini i really get on with air signs but i dont fully trust what they say......she would tell me what she thought i wanted to hear, not the truth.

I was with an Aqua and it wasn't until we broke up that I really felt feelings from him. The distant thing, hot/cold will never go away and you probably won't feel secure.

He kept his feelings bottled up. He only expressed them as a last resort and that was when he saw that I was truly gone and not coming back. It wasn't the best match/most compatible for me.

After we ended I was approached by like 4 Aquas back to back. It was like I had a sign plastered on my forehead that said "ALL AQUAS APPLY HERE"....lol

As each person is an individual and different so too are the experiences that may occur, so I would never tell someone don't date another person, especially solely based on astrology. Who knows, despite the stars it may just work if the two people are wiling to work at it.

hotgal - you're right about individuals, but it seems this guy is already displaying behavior that makes him like the bad aquas mentioned. So I would definately use caution.....

angel - You are right about him displaying Aqua behavior. I can't say that the behavior is "bad Aqua behavior", I just think their flightiness is synonymous to their sign and they will behave that way with any female, particularly with a female who may come across to them as is clingy and/or needy, whether that be in an emotional/physical/financial capacity.

Aqua men want independent, strong willed women and they flee at the first sign of weakness, although Cancer women are far from weak. Our meek nature is usually taken as a sign of debility. Aqua males usually are not comfortable with their feelings to begin with since they think on a mental plain.


Give them a problem to solve, they can think of a number of formulas and calculations to come up with a solution, however, bring love + emotion into play and they are lost most times

For most people love + emotion is like the math equation (2 +2 = 4) , well that is not the case for an Aqua. For them love + feeling is like saying (2 + 2 = 5) which is logically impossible. This sort of mental equation is harder for them to grasp making it easier for them to rebel against cause basically there is no formula/proof that love + emotion should go hand in hand.


I think many Aqua's get attracted to water/earth signs for that very reason, they want to know what it feels like to allow emotion run so deep but they won't allow them selves because they may think they would end up crazy?..Aqua men will struggle with this with most females, it's just that water and earth signs tend to want more expressions of love/emotion in ways that aren't comfortable with or maybe incapable to provide. Not saying they aren't able to just, they do it in a different way.

I don't believe all that "aqua's are intellectual" stuff - I think they just try really hard to LOOK that way. My dad, mom, and sister are all aqua's - all three try to make people beleieve they're some kind of super genius' and in fact they're some of the biggest morons I've ever known

- i am a cancer female dating an aqua now for 3 1/2 yrs. and i definitely agree with the above statement. i cry a LOT and am very emotional, and it is part of who i am ...and my aqua has learned to deal with it and accept even though it used to make him very uncomfortable. he has gotten much better with it.

i have told my aqua bf that just because i cry a lot, it does not make me weak. the fact that i am very comfortable with showing my emotions actually makes me a stronger
individual. he has a hard time opening up and showing his emotions, but he is getting a lot better with that as well. it just took a long time for him to get to that point.

i say go for it!!! cancer and aqua can be a great combination, if each person learns to compromise and grow nd learn from one another. they are two very different signs with extremely different outlooks, but there is a lot that can be gained from it. however, as a cancer female, i will tell you that it will be a long ride...so, be ready 🙂

He's not going to be able to give you what you need emotionally. Move on. You are already having a problem with him not being there enough and thats not going to change. He will continue to pull disappearing acts. Don't get so emotionally involved to where it'll be hard for you to walk away. Go out and start dating other guys and you'll find a man that can give you what you need without you having to settle for a situation that you're really not content and comfortable in.

I think cancerwomen, you should flow with it and see how it goes, my relationship is like that (sort of) and I try and get through those "I do this, and he doesn't get mad things" lol.
Sometimes aquas are too detached for me, when it comes to being mad.
My step-dad, step-mother, brother, best friend, and boyfriend are aquas.
I get along with my step-father more than my leo dad, I can't stand my step-mother (other reasons), I get along more with my brother than my taurus sister.

You shouldn't waste time trying to make something work that you are already getting signs that it won't. Thats the problem with some women today holding on to something that isn't good for them only to settle because they don't think they can get better. A little more time can kill her. It can kill her self-esteem and the longer she's putting her energy into the situation the harder its going to be to get out of it. He's not the only man walking this earth. There could be a better man a man more suited for her waiting but she won't find him as long as she's riding on a dead end road.

with my situation, my aqua WAS NOT READY for a serious relationship before, which is why he did a lot of what he did. not to say it is right, but he didn't know what he wanted at the time. and to be honest, i am not sure if i did either...when he left me for another girl, i was out with other guys doing my own thing as well. i wasn't sitting around at home being upset the whole time.
anyway, we are at a much different point now in our relationship. he has finally matured and realized what he truly wants, which is to be with me for the rest of his life. i am not going to get into the whole thing, but let's just say it is not a dead-end road.

I don't think you're a strong woman. I think you want to be but a strong woman would not be in your situation. Staying in a situation doesn't make you a strong woman, it takes a strong woman to walk away and stay away.

I sign-up just to speak on the behalf of the male Aquas. I recently met a cancer woman and from what I'm getting from her she is everything that I hoped for in a friend/wife/mother of my children if God allows us to get that far. I fell in love with her after a short time of meeting her. I can live without anything as long as she is in my life. It seems as if I am the one who is the needy one.

I try not to seem possessive or demanding, I just want her attention... Simple things. From what I'm reading about the Cancer I'm hoping that I'm not losing her. I agree with aqualuv, You know your feelings for this man you should trust them.. theres got to be a reason you have them 🙂 astrology is fun but you'll never know if you back out. You can read astrology for a precaution but everyones lives change there character, so it will never be 100% not to mention different planets. From personal perspective i'm a cancer/leo cusp, and ive been dating an aquarius man ..and he's been wonderful so far. 🙂 take chance & dive in! goodluck!
