Cancerians playing mind games with each other

Try not to dissect the chart so much, and see that two Cancer suns will be able to relate to each other greatly, but you'll always be more compatible with another water sign than a fellow Cancer. Things will be pretty awesome until the inevitable dual withdrawal, and someone has to say sorry.

After finally finding out a girl from my past's birthday I couldn't believe the results. This girl seriously had me on an emotional rollercoaster at age 19, I find out she is a fellow Cancer!
I find her 12 years later and she is still single, found fault with every guy she was ever with. I was almost convinced she had some heavy placement in Virgo or Leo but no. Her chart is very similar to mine. She is heavy water like myself
She has the same exact Sun and Moon as I. Cancer and Pisces, same rising Gemini.
Her Mercury is in Gemini and mine is Cancer
Her Venus is in Cancer but mine is in Leo which is compatible
I am wondering how this person could cause such a devastating effect on me when their chart is similar to mine? How could I not see through the game she was playing on me? She would have me come over and have fun then ignore me for weeks.
I am posting this really to say Cancerians seem to do this to other Cancers and we have the same reaction others have it seems.
