Dating a Cancer Man
I've just had kind of a similar experience with a cancer man, who was constantly hot and cold. He always made up excuses for not meeting me... and I know how hurtful and confusing this feels. So Yeah, I'd also say move on and find a better man who really wants to be with you!

Cancer men don't blow hot and cold if they really like you...they may test the waters here and there to make sure they are not being too vulnerable, but in my experience, when a Cancer man feels anything real for you, you will know.

I was blinded by how hot he was and how he made me feel physically that I ignored all his lame excuses....I am a lot smarter than that...I refuse to be treated like a fool. A guy who wants to be with me wouldn't treat like me that. 😢 😢 😢
He doesn't trust you. He liked you and when he found out you had a bf he gave you that ultimatum for him to distance and because he probably didn't think you'd break up a 4 yr relationship just to fool around with a guy you barely knew.
Cancer thinks long term and you seem too easy to bend plus your weird banter is off putting. He should be testing you since you've proven you lack loyalty but it sounds like he cbf.

I've told a guy I'm painting my nails and making papier-mâché for him to realise I couldn't give a fuck. This is the vagueness of a cancer, but in all honesty it just reflects his lack of respect towards you.

"Testing" people, as Arielle83 puts it, with a series of tests that you don't know are happening, and don't know if you've passed or failed, is a bunch of bullshit in and of itself.

Um...update...we still haven't talked..at all since Friday. I deleted his number out of my contacts and call log in case I got the urge to drunk text him. So if we ever talk again he is going to have to start the conversation. It's been a week since we've seen each other.
I creeped on his moms FB (because he doesn't use his at all) and she posted about how he is going back home in December. We talked before about him going back for Christmas...so idk if he is going to stay or not. Hopefully he stays so I never have to deal with him again. It hurts...but I feel a lot stronger and wiser for not putting up with his crap.
