Do I move on?

Found an older Cancer male (41) and I’m a Libra (32), we couldn’t be more compatible. Everything seemed so easy to do together and never a difficult moment. He quickly became my best friend. Met in July, and by Jan he found out he needed to move for work. We had our first difficult night of not knowing what to do about us...but then decided to try. At this point I truly believed I found my soulmate, but he clearly needed more time. By the end of April it was suddenly over. No great big fight, he just didn’t “see us” in the future. But he wanted us to be life long friends. I’ve never been so confused.

He’s been gone a while and he doesn’t talk unless I message. He will always message me back. And everyone says he was happiest with me. But I’m ready to just delete and block.

I miss my best friend but will never force someone to just stick around. I don’t need the bf back, but I’m tired of hoping for him to just come out of his shell. What would you want from an ex, who really just wants her friend.

Well as he said, he isn't into you, you're a friend. He might be bussy and have things to do, or he still has feelings for you and doesn't want to get close to you, or hurt you again because you might expect more than a friendship. You should ask him straight up about this

You are so right! He did still have feelings but just can’t engage with it cause we both hurt to much from the breakup.

Maybe in time, but for now he needs space.
