Eye contact

When a Cancer makes eye contact with you across a room, more than once...
is that as real as it gets?

imacancer - long story short, I had a huge crush on this girl at the start of the school year and told myself not to so I got over her. Then I caught her looking over at me several times. I'm not really looking for anything, at least I'm trying not to. Am I disappointed? No, I'm actually more surprised if anything, she caught me off guard and now I'm confused.

moon_eyes - you're right the eyes do tell everything. I'm more worried about misreading her eye communication due to some sort of false hope. I had another cancer give me the same look but.. how can one be sure.

maybe i should stop resisting.. but i've been trying for so long!

Bena73 - which look is she giving me? How does anybody know? well, it's definitely not the "I hate you"... how could she hate me? we've only spoken to each other once. I'd love to say it was the "wow..if only.. with a smile...;}" look but I don't want to build myself up for disappointment, again. She caught me off guard because I didn't expect it... at all. Okay, I felt a vibe, I don't know how sure you can be of those, but I felt a vibe when we first spoke... but anytime after that I kept telling myself "NO! I can't like her! She can't like me!". Here I am trying to fight these feelings away.

moon_eyes - I'd really love to but I can't, that would be admitting I have feelings for her. That's not allowed. I'm not really expecting something to happen, I'm not supposed to. Plus, why can't she come talk to me first?? I mean she's always looking at -me-! 😏 Anyways, I don't want to give in, unless I'm 110% sure or never give in for that matter.

I fought so long against these feelings why give in now? Hmm, eye contact across the room is solid proof don't ya think? I don't know. :S

If you see her looking at you again....smile back, again. When you get a chance walk up to her, bump into her, stop in front of her and say HI, again.
Right now she's just giving you the "have you noticed me" looking eyes. Wondering the same thing as you - maybe.. ;}

moon_eyes - first of all, yes it is! why else would i want to talk to her if not interested or showing some sort of interest! anyway, it would be obvious because I get real nervous around my object of affection, and therefore it will tell all. second of all... yes it is! lol but seriously, I'm thinking about it. its a hard decision to make. its shaking my nerves just thinking about it. I have spoken to her in the past, once, and that's all it took, I was nervous as hell.. at the same time felt the stupid 'vibe' i keep talking about. third of all, who says I'm not a girl? =p

GreatBull - I will ask questions! and I will second guess, not all of us have sunglasses to spare.

scorpsting - I'm a libra (oct 11) but don't make any assumptions based on that (who am i kidding? lol). your story is very romantic and inspires confidence. is there more to the story? I'd love to know... I feel the 'connection' too, but how do you know its not just part of your imagination? My overactive imagination has got me into trouble in the past. but of course, I want that but the question is, will she? dun dun dun

Bena73 - Well I do like her, I don't want to admit I like her well, because I'm a girl, she's a girl, could pose some problems. There's that factor to take into consideration. Okay, I may have exaggerated on how long its been going on... but fighting off these kind of feelings takes a lot of hard work, and that sometimes seems like a lifetime. If you have to know 2 months but longest two months ever. lol

You can see how its a hard decision, being a libra and all, plus the girl/girl thing... don't judge me... lol i guess you can never know these things for sure unless you ask right. tell me more about those seductive eyes... since that has been the only clue i have to work with... you lovely cancers =)
