Having a cancer baby :D

I have under 5 weeks left and I am so excited to meet my little cancer baby, sad thing is I have never ever had a friendship with a cancer I don't know anything about you guys... What do I have to expect? Are you really as family orientated as they say??

You don't need to worry about that. Your child will teach you.

I'm a Cancer, and I specialized with infants for 8 years. Cancer babies are much like any other, where they're very happy when their needs are met and they're with you, but they have terrible tempers. They become extremely attached to their parents, but also any other primary caregiver, and throw the biggest tantrums once separation and stranger anxiety have kicked in when you leave them. Always remember Cancer is the most sensitive and the most emotional of all the zodiac signs. Cancer children are dreamers, and enjoy playing make-believe. They're usually pretty fearful of anyone or anything new. Yes, they're very family-oriented, and are usually homebodies (and often on the lazy side). They're usually creative as well. They cry a lot at the drop of a hat, and that's just the way it is, but they're also very caring and nurturing. When your baby is pitching a fit, don't mistake that as something being very wrong. Your baby is just going to be more emotional than other babies. You'll get to know your baby's personality, though. Congratulations, and many blessings to you and your little one.

Pisces with a Scorpio moon, ugh this is like my sister being my mother.
She always hated my Cancer sun/Cancer moon niece's crying clinging ways.
She would say she wanted boys not girls.
But was very nurturing, loving and smothering toward her Cancer Rottweiler.
She has no kids and is a Veterinarian with 5 cats and 2 dogs. 😆

Be very affectionate and understanding.
Get over your disgust for crying or crying to manipulate.
This will happen often. Talk with them, they are intelligent and don't need a lot of corporal punishment.
If she/he has a fire moon be prepared for him/her to be athletic and gifted at squashing bullies. 😄
She/he may also be artistic so good to find out who he/she is and likes at a very early age.

Our childhood stays with us a very long time so be mindful of what you put in front of him/her.

You described me pretty well, I can be quite insensitive I will make sure to take that on board. Thanks for letting me know, I feel that it's not that I love my kids but I am quite strict I don't want them to cry over anything silly I want to build them to be strong and yeah also sometimes I don't have patience either

Wow! Thank you for sharing! I thought my little Capricorn was a cry baby but I think I'll have a lot with this cancer baby hehe, I don't mind though if it means he just wants to be protected and loved, I do hate all the crying I'm not good with crying sometimes I don't know how to handle it, but I will be have to be prepared with my new born baby

You guys took it too far. These are infants were talking about. Most infants all act the same way. It's not a sign thing with infants. And how can a infant show you so much. How is a infant going to be caring and nurturing? I laughed when I read this. OP your taking astrology way too seriously. It's a baby for Christ sake love your baby like any baby and you'll be fine.

Actually infants are just as diverse as adults in personality, and I have found common traits based on their signs. In addition to raising my daughter and nephew, like I said earlier, I specialized with infants for 8 years, so I've taken care of many, many babies.
